Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Thank you very much for the reply. I'll definitely be keeping my fingers crossed!
Dang, I already chose sets that were on sale, then got Han and the VIP 5% in points of course. If they throw in a Chima pack I'm going to fall in love.
Given the B-Wing's price, I'm wondering if they included freebies with all orders over $99? I know my order was $76 so we'll see if I get lucky...

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Ditto on the free Chima set. My first reaction was panic and cursing, but it does indeed appear to be (another!!) $20 freebie! Just wish I hadn't bought it 3 months ago.
Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
My B-Wing arrived from TRU today, the polybag arrived seperately. Was well packed. I ordered at 7.30am last Saturday morning.
Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Yep, two of my orders arrived today (no B-wing yet). Two free Chima sets.
Note - we're running a charity raffle on Brickset.com for some hard-to-find prizes (see the site for details). Proceeds are going to children's hospitals around the world. If anyone wants to donate their free Chima sets (or anything else for that matter) contact me. I'll be taking donations to the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
I missed out on the free shipping. I was away all weekend.
Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Not sure if it's currently being offered in the US, but right now when I hit the Lego shop site it's advertising free shipping on orders over $75.
I ordered a B-Wing and Orc Forge less than 10 minutes after the sale started but only the Orc Forge has shipped so far.

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
my bwing and promotions bought from shop@home were shipped from olive branch, misssouri to toronto, canada. never paid attention before on where sets came from in the US, but I am suprised at the location. Its possible that each distribution/warehouse that lego uses has a certain supply and certain buyer locations are assigned to different distribution centres/warehouses across the US. Anyone have the inside scoop how it all works?

It's Olive Branch, Mississippi and I believe all S@H orders are shipped from there for the U.S and Canada

Last I knew all LEGO shipments came from one spot, but I thought it was TN.kks wrote:It's Olive Branch, Mississippi and I believe all S@H orders are shipped from there for the U.S and Canada

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Does anyone find it interesting that S&H has the B-Wing for sale again at $199 with a ship date of May 24th?
My set from TRU arrived yesterday and my freebies from S&H shipped on 5/7 and 5/8 (two separate orders). B-wings on those orders are backordered. Maybe i will get 2 free Chima!

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
my order has been switched from "backorder" to "in process"... so maybe they are gonna ship the backorders earlier than expected?

For Canadians that have received their bwing already, who did they use to ship? FedEx or Canadian post? It affects whereabouts I may need to pick it up (unlikely anyone will be sy gone when they deliver. Also Canada Post every now and then have issues with parcels to my apartment.

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Got my backordered B-Wing today from S@H and got the free Chima set! A nice surprise.
Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
So am I reading this correctly, some people received the free Chima set without getting the B-wing, but getting it with their remaining order? I only ordered some PAB, 5 CMF and the B-Wing. The 5 CMF, posters and Han did ship, but the package seems pretty light to include a free Chima set.
Also it's so surprising some of you have received it already! What a quick turnaround. Mine shipped on 5/8, but isn't scheduled to be delivered until 5/15!

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
I was surprised too at the quick shipping. I placed my order on Sunday when the status on S&H was backordered until 5/17 (or sometime around then). I received confirmation that it shipped on 5/7 at 9pm ET and the package arrived today around 10am--so basically 2 day shipping! Chima set was a nice bonus.
Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
Of my two orders I placed on May 4 (One within minutes of the sale going live and the other some time during the day), all of my promo items have shipped from each order and my back ordered B-Wing from the first order just shipped this morning.

Fedex, all lego shipments so far in the past couple of years has been fedex. Fedex will leave packages on your porch or door.Toronadian wrote:For Canadians that have received their bwing already, who did they use to ship? FedEx or Canadian post? thanks kks for the correction for olive branch mississipi. The city limits are on the state border with tennessee hence the possibility of that coming up too. Sometimes it also shows up as southhaven which again is on the state border.
