Barnes & Noble - Life of George 50 to 75% off retail

Post by atmail35 » Tue Apr 23, 2013 2:03 pm

I picked up the Life of George at B&N the other day and it was 50% off retail, so $15. It had a red dot sticker. I have heard they have gone to 75% off red dot, but this was the last one at this store so I'm glad I snagged it. I did not see any other LEGO clearance items.

This was Walpole, MA.

Which version was it? I think the ones I saw were the older version.

I've seen them on clearance at Target. I don't remember how much they were marked down though.

It was the old version, does it matter for playability? I never saw it at Target, where are they located? With toys, games or video games?

Seriously, where does Target store Life of George? I've never seen it.
Today I checked the LEGO aisle, the board games and even computer software/video games.
No clue.

Check the random clearance endcaps in the toy section.

Originally though, they were in the games section, similar to where you would find the Heroica or LEGO board game sets, at least at my targets.

Now, however, yes, clearance endcaps. A target near me has 4 boxed of the dual app Life of George box for 9 bucks a pop, but I didn't think it was worth an investment to flip.

If you have a Frys in your area, they are $5... It is model 21200. You can check stock at frys.com.
