If the LOTR pirate ship and black gate were still in stock and clearanced at Target, how long would the time frame be to hit 50% off? 7 days or usually more?

Bought 4 Ghost train sets yesterday for $52 each(35% off) from my local Chicago Target.
Bought a ton of other sets earlier this month (30-50% off) from a bunch of Target store around Chicagoland.

Which store did you clear out / check. I've been to Niles, rosemont, and west Rogers park. The Niles store had tons of LOTR sets... but none were marked down. The other two stores were cleared out.

most items I was hiding at my targets now ring up as item not found. Upon taking them to the cashier they offer it up at 50% off... its last markdown... blah.

What I noticed was that the markdown was not automatic. There needs to be product available on the shelf for them to scan to take it to the next discount level. Items that are hidden or lost in the store never get scanned and marked down farther.

Not always true. I've had stuff hidden that was not scanned and still hit the next level of clearance. Usually it's its at 70% off and hidden it'll fall off the grid. Is it's at 30% and hidden it will hit 50%, or 70%...whatever that strore decides to do.

And for clearance finds I scored big at my target today...Helms Deep for 39.98!!! 3 days ago it was still 89.98 and checked it today and it hit 70% off. Totally skipped the 50% mark. Needless to say I bought that *!

My Target had one last pirate ship (already picked one up two weeks ago) and it was still 25% off. I'm going to assume my location doesn't do 75% :(

Same boat... Neither of the Targets in my state (and another over the PA line) have had the ship on clearance at all.

Yesterday I found a lone 6784 Duplo Creative Sorter for 5.98and stored it away for Christmas. This is 70% off the original price of 19.99. I swear this is what Lego originally sold it at too- but on their website the price is now 14.99 for those interested.

Found a 70% off lego architecture empire state building 21002 ($5.98). I wasn't aware that Target B&M even carried that line as none of the other target's in my area have any of that stuff.
