10% in store Lego coupon in catalog

If I requested a catalog and didn't get a coupon, does it make sense to request another one?

Sadly, that won't work. Last year, I requested a catalog for my mom & it arrived without a coupon. I then ordered one for my husband & he didn't get a coupon either. So, I was the only one who got a set that trip to the store. My mom never gets coupons in her catalogs & she loves LEGO. I told her to contact customer service to see if they can help her out. She has lots of LEGO sets, but since the catalogs come without coupons she buys her sets elsewhere.

Seems to me it is based on being a vip member who has made purchases from a Lego store recently (Not online). I have no facts to back this up other than personal experience.

I have ordered multiple sets from Lego.com before but I never received a coupon in my catalog until recently. Last month I picked up a pick a brick cup at the closest Lego store (it''s an hour and a half away) and now I get my first coupon...

I've always gotten coupons on my catalogs but until recently have only purchased from Lego online. So I am not sure what triggers it. Amount of purchase? Number of purchases? Luck of the draw?

To answer my own question on this Sunday (Easter Sunday)?
We have one mall / TLG store that's not open but one that's even further away from me that is open so I'll be heading that way to finish filling my PAB boxes from back in 2012 .

Got a Lego 10% coupon in the new Summer Catalog (with Iron Man / War Machine on the front cover). It's vaild from 6/3/2013 to 7/7/2013, just in case anyone was wondering the dates. :)

Just received the Lego 2013 Holiday Catalog and for the first time in years, it does NOT have a 10 % off coupon! I'm not too happy about this. Did anyone out there get this catalog with a coupon?

I also received the Catalog without a coupon. In the past, mine have always had the 10% off coupons. Well, since I can't use them on exclusives, I guess they are nearly useless to me anyway.
I am betting that the Black Friday coupons that they give out at the stores will also be limited to non-exclusives.

+1 on not receiving a coupon. I would have expected one with a valid date of 10/15-11/15.

I remember when Sprint tried to do the same approach of "We want all the money we can possibly squeeze out of you" and got rid of all discounts. Look how it turned out for them...
