My Kmart had seven Sith Infiltrators. I bought three, as well as a Alien Mothership (left two) and a Mobile Police Station thing for $20.
I didn't scan the Republic Striker Class :\

Got a couple of Maul's Infiltrator for $26 each. (And had a coupon for $10 in points of a $50+ purchase, so ended up being a great deal)

Nothing else much left (LEGO-wise) local on clearance except mining trucks (Sadly, the republic striker is still ringing up at full price). They did have a Thorin Oakenshield action figure for 2 bucks. I might have to go back ;)

My store was odd... The guy was in the aisle marking them down when I got there, and I don't know why but I asked him how the clearance prices were working (even though I knew they were supposed to be 50% additional off the clearance price). He asked his manager, who came over and noticed he'd been doing it incorrectly, so they went away and the guy eventually came back with another sticker gun. Still, he marked the Sith Nightspeeder as "clearanced" at $25, which we all know is $0.01 OVER MSRP, so it rang up as $12.50. I looked up the page on my phone to show them the $9.50 price and they said "we don't match the website". I said "but, this is the actual price it's supposed to be - you're trying to clear out this product at one cent over MSRP then taking 50% off."

So, they said "you can try to order it online at Customer Service" but the product was coming up as unavailable. Eventually I got a supervisor to call the same manager that had double-checked the guy doing the re-pricing, and said "okay, do a manual override for the $9.50 price". I can only assume he then went back to check on the guy doing the markdowns yet again.

They also had one 5882 DINO Ambush Attack "clearanced" at $12 (again, one cent over MSRP) that I didn't argue about, since I couldn't find it on the website, and one 3862 Harry Potter Hogwarts game marked at $22, so rang up as $11 (which was great).

Striker Class Starfighter wasn't in the clearance aisle, so I didn't bother to check. Also, I had spent enough already...

I actually checked all the LoTR and Hobbit sets (more out of habit than hope) and no luck. Looks like aspects of this are still YMMV as far as what is actually clearanced :)

Don't give up hope if you find nothing at your local store - I went to two different Kmarts. One had stock on a lot of the sets people are reporting, but not clearanced and not doing the half-off promotion ("maybe next week?"); the other had a few clearanced City, SW Planets and HF sets, including scads of Heavy Lift Helicopters and Mining Trucks.

Sadly I didn't find any TIE Fighters. But you may want to add the Ninjago Samurai Mech to your "must scan" list, as I found one at $18, which is a great price for a great set.

It was a good morning, although I was really hoping the 3 - Harry Potter Hogwart's (4867) sets I saw last month were still there, they were gone. Just checked on mine, Goblin Kings $37.50, Worgs $18.50, Gathering $26, Republic Starfighter $17, Fangpyres $22.50 and Hearse $13.... think out of all that lot only the fangpyres were marked clearance. The rest were pristine, mint just sat on the shelves gathering dust! All cleared out now!

Wow, some great finds!

That's crazy some of you guys are finding Hobbit sets, wasn't their street date like Dec 1st? So they haven't even been for sale a full 3 months.

My Kmart still has a bunch of LOTR and MF sets that are full price (but I check every week or so). And they only got Hobbit sets on the shelves a couple weeks ago.

I went to 3 Kmarts today and YMMV indeed. One out of three stores had Hobbit Goblin King for $37, the others were $99. All had $24 Tie Fighters and $15 Mining Trucks. All three stores also had fully stocked regular aisles with LOTR, Hobbit, Monster FIghters, Super Heroes and Star Wars galore but none on clearance. I found a Friends Olivias House "misplaced" in the clearance section scanning at $75, after speaking with a manager and explaining where I found it she offered to honor the 50% off before I even asked!

I did have to speak with managers at all three stores at the registers to get the correct price reductions. The last one I had to be quite insistent, too.

Also got a $5 off $50 purchase with my receipt that begins tomorrow. I might just go pick up a couple more Tie Fighters for ridiculously cheap tomorrow unless they're gone
