I think I would rather have a good sale and free shipping :)

And "sometimes", free shipping alone will do it for me! ))

Was going to get some of the sales in Australia including Horizon Express but when I saw the price for shipping:
I will just continue buying stuff on Amazon, shipping it to Oregon and then sending it to Australia. A long way about going things but ends up being cheaper in the end.

S@H really needs to add a free shipping if you buy XXX as an all the time thing; as much as I would prefer to buy there, between being charged tax (with a store 2+ hours away that I've never been to), no coupons, full retail, and horrible shipping (both cost and tracking) I just can't justify it over buying local (and occasionally on Amazon, which just started charging tax to AZ also but still has free shipping).
At least in October big purchases make sense :)

I agree, Mass will have tax come November, but free shipping and something even 5-10% off. Plus you can track things. I can't remember the last thing I bought from Lego Shop.The-Daryl wrote:S@H really needs to add a free shipping if you buy XXX as an all the time thing; as much as I would prefer to buy there, between being charged tax (with a store 2+ hours away that I've never been to), no coupons, full retail, and horrible shipping (both cost and tracking) I just can't justify it over buying local (and occasionally on Amazon, which just started charging tax to AZ also but still has free shipping).

At our Lego Store (b&m), they will place any order from the shop at home, collect payment in store, and ship to our door for free. Especially when I'm drooling over a specific batch of "sales and deals" online, this really makes a difference... I buy, when shipping would otherwise ruin the deal. I don't mind getting the occassional full priced item with reward points if it means supporting Lego instead of Walmart, Target, or especially TRU with their inflated prices. Do all Lego Stores have that policy?

Only on items that aren't currently in stock at that particular Lego store, but are in stock online.
