Wow, the last frigate I saw at Walmart was a few weeks before Christmas and it looked like UPS had delivered it. It was all beat up and smashed. I think I even saw tire tracks on it.prozac wrote:got the republic frigate for 49.50 today!

Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
Someone was busy in Corona, and it wasn't me.
Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
My WMs are useless... I saw three LEGO sets in the clearance aisle at the WM in East Meadow, NY - a Gungan Sub for $10 off, a Quinjet for $10 off and a Samurai Mech for $0 off. Wow. What a bargain. That looks like the bargain for me.

Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
Picked up a destiny's bounty and alien mothership for $34.50 and $29.50 today.
Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
I saw another Alien Mothership the other day, but passed. I bought one on clearance so far. I'd like to snag another Destiny's Bounty to add to my two. Nice find!

Like vynsane stated already - "My WMs are useless..." here in the South.
I haven't seen any good clearances on Lego at any stores but I'm good with that as I have little to spend and no space to store them right now.

Me neither - that's too far from me. Did they have a good selection then get wiped out??octick wrote:Someone was busy in Corona, and it wasn't me.

Depends on locations, some Walmarts sell toys better than other, therefore the clearance difference. Also the manager have the say on what he or she put on clearance and how much to put on. Some are strict on it even when the toy is not selling, which make us hope that they get transfer to another location, or simple do no exsist in that store anymore.vynsane wrote:My WMs are useless... The Wallmart closest to my work, I've occasion found loads of 50% off, then nothing or next to nothing for months on end, even in a single location it can seem a crapshoot.dulait wrote:Depends on locations, some Walmarts sell toys better than other, therefore the clearance difference. Found 2 more $50 republic frigates at the same walmart as the other day(bought them too). Also had 3 ghost trains for 54, police chopper for 35, about 12 batman and catwoman sets for 9, and at least 20 galdalf arrives sets for 9 each. I left all but the frigates. Might go back later to see if the ghost trains come down any.

Yep. Someone cleared 7+ sets of the same set, and all the remaining Cat woman cycles. I was able to pick up a couple of remaining things spread out across the toy section, but I wasn't expecting someone to take so many.Gooker1 wrote:Me neither - that's too far from me. Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
I just found a Ninjago Destiny's Bounty for 34.50 that someone must have returned. It had a few tape pulls on the box from wrapping paper, but otherwise in great shape.

Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
My Walmart is also useless and I knew that I shouldn't have bothered to go! They had the ghost train at full price, stuff that was listed here as on sale was out of stock or full price.
I saw one Heroica game for $16.50...I really just need to give up on WM!

Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
One of my local Wal-Mart stores must have pulled out a case of City Mobile Police Units out of the back. They already clearanced these once.
1 - City Mobile Police Unit (7288) - $25.00 MSRP $44.99
1 - City Town Car and Caravan (4435) - $9.50 MSRP $19.99 (must have been a return)
1 - Lego Darth Vader Watch (9002908) - $11.00 MSRP $24.99 (not sure why, but I see the minifig going for more than that on EBay)
1 - Ninjago Cole ZX's Car Polybag (30087) - $3.47
1 - Ninjago Snake Battle (30085) - $3.47
1 - City Police Boat (30017) - $3.47
1 - City Police Plane (30018) - $3.47

Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
I saw at least 6 Ninjago Ultra Sonic Raiders last night for $54 each at the WM in Charlestown, WV.
Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
Cat woman is still $9, so i don't know why they were cleared out at 30%. Maybe, my app is wrong.Gooker1 wrote:

The shelf that was cleared out was for the Ninjago Ultra Sonic Raider sets. I don't know what the price was at the time it was cleared, but I was able to pick one up at $40. The tape was tampered with, so I opened it at the register before I bought it. Everything was there, so I purchased it. Now, I guess I have to build it.
I also found a Star Destroyer Poly for $1.50. Seems to be I find one every time I shop there, but they are always in the other aisles.
Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
I'll have to scan the Ultra Sonic Raider the next time I'm in there. Ours still has 3 Jabba's Palace sets at $79 and plenty of Quinjets at $49 and Mines of Moria at $54.

Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
I have a few Jabba's sitting at $79 near me. Is this a good price? Still trying to figure out if I want to pull the trigger. I've only ever found one of the $120 sets hit 50%.
