thx - amazon scalpers took them all out yesterday (had plenty in stock until later in the day when free shipping window ended). i got a few sets for my kids. 25% off retail price is quite good for tru!

Sadly all the sets are overpriced then discounted, for example, Galaxy Squad Bug Obliterator (70705) should be $79.99 to begin with, not $99.99, since that is the canadian MSRP.

the $25 off $100 stacks with the after discounted price of $79.99 (or msrp). so in the end you get true 25% off.

this is probably a "bug" and they will fix this later. for now, if you are in the market for GS sets, this is the best you can get for now.

I was at my local TRU this morning and they had most if not all of the Galaxy Squad sets, and all the Lego shelves had the same signage for $25 off $100 with purchase of MSRP set. I think that's what it was saying. So point is, maybe other people can do this deal in their local store.

Is it a bug, or related to the fact that a lot of stores are completely wiped out of Ninjago and Monster Fighters while the GS shelves groan under the weight? (It's probably the best deal you'll see for a while, and I'm warming to a couple of the sets, but I don't think the line is moving real well.)

My TRU had the Bug Obliterator for 'unbeatable price' of $104.99 last week.

I went today and the price tag reflected the MSRP price, so it's all good...for now.

Thanks for the heads-up. I am not a super-fan of the sets, but I love space and space marines, so I will find a way to make it work, or just end up selling the vehicles and keeping the Minifigs.

True (no pun) 25% off the entire line, in 2 quick purchases for like $150 is not bad at all!
