Amazon.com 20% off first 100.00 spent code

Post by sadowsk1 » Wed Dec 12, 2012 3:11 pm

Hello all,

I just got an email from Amazon telling me if I use their credit card I get 20% off my toy purchase of 100 dollars. Any suggestions on how to maximize these savings with currently existing deals? I am a reseller and collector so any suggestions that would be most cost effective and yield the best return are appreciated.

Amazon 20% off Toys up to $100 with Amazon Visa
Just got an email with this promo, good Dec 12-16 at Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/? ... g=tonbr-20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

1. Add eligible Toys & Games to your cart.

2. Select your Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card as your payment method at checkout.

3. Enter promo code TOY20OFF in the "Gift Cards & Promotional Codes" box. You will see "Promotion Applied" in your Order Summary.

Limit one discount per customer. Maximum discount applied will be $20 on qualifying products sold by Amazon.com.

I used this to lower LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley 10217 down to $128.97 and I also had $10 in Amazon rewards to use. I rarely use my Amazon card.

Thanks for the post! I just ordered the Fire Brigade 10197, already at $129.97 (13% off). The extra 20% off brings the tax-free (for me) total to $109.97, or almost 27%!

I just used it on Jabba's Palace with a total discount of 30% or so. Thanks for pointing this out.

Just ordered Jabba's Palace for 79.99 after coupon. Never use this card, but luckily still have it. So at least your item can be 99.99.

^^ Hey! Two hours ago the FB was 129.97! Is there a way to get the extra $10 in these circumstances? If I cancel the current order, they might not give me back the one-time 20% discount.

Sometimes, all depends on the rep you talk to. It's worth a shot.

^Had a quick "chat" session with Amazon CS. They couldn't adjust as the shipment was already in process, but they did promise a post-shipment refund of the $10 difference. Worked for me! Less than $100 for the FB is a purty dern good deal.

Got the Medieval Market Village for about $72 after discount. Had some gift card money too so I paid <$30 out of pocket. It's worth noting the maximum value you can get taken off is $20, but you don't have to spend $100 to get to the discount threshold. It's just 20% off.
