Deal is now live. Unless I am missing something, I haven't found "something special." I see only what was previously reported by others.

I think the email reply from TLC could possibly be just a lie, or TLC meant "surprise" as what they are now offering.

After all, it was just a customer service methodology for comforting unhappy customer.

Agree with you 100%. Sale or no sale, parents will buy LEGO for their kids regardless.

The customer is king - that should be the mantra of every company... sadly it isn't anymore.

Sir, why are you trolling? You are all over the map in your comments because first you say Lego doesn't owe anyone anything, then you say Boycott Lego, then you say this is the best Black Friday sale ever.

People are frustrated with this whole thing and with Lego, and you're not helping.

I believe we expected better sales from LEGO - it's disappointing but there will be other sales out there!

Maybe he or she was being sarcastic? Or maybe he or she got those clearance modular from walmart a few weeks before, then did not see anything good to buy today, but later saw the Walmart combo pack on sale today? A very emotional person indeed!

While I understand exactly what you mean, I think you could've worded it better. While yes, companies should make their customers their top priority, they should never feel obligated to bend over backwards at the 'demands of a king'. I work in retail, and customers who have that sense of entitlement are the worst type of customers, and as such, don't derserve anything.

Sorry for my little soapbox moment. im not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers. It just baffles me that for a company that does so many things right, many people nitpick at the smaller things that don't go their way.
