[USA] Meijer Sales November 18-21, 22, 23, 24
(I just joined and this is my first contribution so please be gentle.)
Been reviewing the ads for Meijer this week and found these deals:
*Sunday through Wednesday: Buy one, get one of equal or lesser value 50% off on all Lego City Building Sets.
*Thursday: Lego Star Wars Planet Assortment for $7 (Reg. $9.99) -- 30% off.
*Friday: The Batcave (#6860) for $55 (Reg. $69.99) -- 21% off. Quick comparison against current Walmart online price ($53.97-but sold out). The Batcave set isn't that great of a "Black Friday" deal...
*Saturday: No LEGO deals, however, they do offer their Meijer Bucks (http://meijer.shoplocal.com/MeijerSneak ... er-121124m" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), so you can make your own sale (up to 20% off), however, but if you live near a Meijer store and are able to use their ship to store feature (with promocode: ship2store) and order online you get an additional 20% off your purchase. So relating this back to LEGO shopping, while they don't offer much in terms of exclusive or expensive sets like Walmart and Target, I did find a couple excellent deals using this stacking for the Battle of Helms Deep (9474) which retails $130 would be down to $88 or 32% off, and Vampyre Castle (9468) which retails $100 would be down to $64 or 36% off.

I would compare it to a cleaner wal-mart with better staffing. At least the dozen or so I have been in. They are based in Michigan and can be found in the surrounding 5-6 states of Michigan. Virtually every wal-mart I have been in left something to be desired....

gvsualan nice post! Can you explain how you figured out the Helm's and VC discounts? I don't see how the instore Meijer Bucks coupons on Saturday can be combined with the ship to store discount.gvsualan wrote:*Saturday: No LEGO deals, however, they do offer their Meijer Bucks (http://meijer.shoplocal.com/MeijerSneak ... er-121124m" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), so you can make your own sale (up to 20% off), however, but if you live near a Meijer store and are able to use their ship to store feature (with promocode: ship2store) and order online you get an additional 20% off your purchase. They're also union, pay their employees well, and do business with local farmers;)pumbaugh wrote:I would compare it to a cleaner wal-mart with better staffing. Another great thing at least at my local Meijer is they just recently started to add additional shelving to some isles to make them taller. The LEGO isle is now much more taller and well stocked!

Is the BOGO just in store?
Re: [USA] Meijer Sales November 18-21, 22, 23, 24
The BOGO is NOT all Lego. It's ONLY city.
Re: [USA] Meijer Sales November 18-21, 22, 23, 24
Is there a coupon code to purchase BOGO online?
I tried the City Mine and Dumptruck and its normal prices.

I feel dumb, I missed the fine print -- Meijer bucks are instore only. Helm'ssweener wrote:gvsualan nice post! Can you explain how you figured out the Helm's and VC discounts? Deep would be $104 online or $110 in store... Vampyre Castle would be $80 either way. So 20% off max. Sorry.

No worries gvsualan
I was just really hoping for a nice discount on Vampyre Castle before the after Christmas clearance frenzy begins.
