B&N has King's Castle 7946

Post by MarkV » Thu Oct 04, 2012 7:57 am

Full price at $99, but hard to find. Says not coupon eligible. Your results may vary. Swim at your own risk. Et tu, Brutus?

Thanks for the posting! I've noticed at my local store they have a few retired smaller Kingdom sets (but not the castle). I'm happy to pay full retail rather than the 50%-100% mark-up on ebay. Can't believe this set has been retired for about a year now. :)

WOW is right! How you stumbled upon this little nugget is anyone's guess! Thanks for the heads up. I have been dying to get this set but did not want to get raked across the coals for it. Now I just hope it goes through. Mark V you sir are the bomb. Do you have a LEGO theme preference, because this deserves my and anyone else who landed this deal from scouring the ends of the Internet to find you an equally fantastic deal.

WOW! I got one. Did they find this somewhere in the warehouse's back under a pile of books?

In. Sanity.

Ordered as well. My apologies to TnB, though: since there was no link in my haste I just opened another window and went to B&N. I'll remember the affiliate links next time, I swear. And you are the man, MarkV. This must be our little secret, because I cannot believe I ordered 3 hours after your post and still got to checkout. I'll definitely post the results here.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

Hopefully this is not some mistake on B&N's part. I'll be very sad if I get a vampyre castle.

No problem. Just trying to give back to all of those that have cost me thousands this year :). I almost didn't order one (have 3 and I'm too lazy to resell), but convinced myself one more wouldn't hurt. It's such a nice set. Also, I think it's the least expensive one I've paid for. Maybe it was a mistake and they don't really have any. Not my fault!

They have 48x48 plates for $10.xx (30% off) as well.

Ah, Might pass. Looks a little small for a castle and sticker heavy... D:

Mine says shipping tomorrow. I'll guess they'll know in 24 hours if they actually had them? :)

It's been taken down.

Well, this one is still there, but way too pricy.
