What a complete pain ... waiting has made me cranky. I'm now convinced most sets won't be eligible or, if they are, will revert to TRU's famously inflated prices. E.g., Jabba's Palace must be included in the sale since it is pictured in the flyer. I now feel foolish for thinking earlier that it might be available for $119. It now seems clear it will be $149, which is a deal breaker for me.

As far as I can tell, any set "on sale" doesn't qualify...and almost everything has a fake markdown on it. Booo!

Ya, that was never a possibility. The old sale will end before the new one begins. They won't overlap sales. This thread even lists sets at the full MSRP that are currently 10% off but no one thought they would stay that way when the B2G1F offer started...

I'm staying hopeful too ... just not as euphoric as I was earlier, when I imagined getting copies of a lot of the sets I have wanted for a long, long time. Now I'm just hoping they don't run out of the few sets they'll be selling at MSRP that I'm interested in.

I would love to go to sleep, but if I do I'm convinced I'll wake up too late and what I'm hoping for will be gone.

I did snag a couple smaller sets from freddies recently but they don't have the death star at freddies :) Always nice to see a fellow Oregonian on the forums.

I just don't get as jazzed as I used too over TRu's bogo/b2g3rdf deals with their mark ups and then "sales". If its not live by morning I'm just gonna stroll into the store down the road and grab what city and train sets I need.

In 2 separate transactions I picked up 3 forest police stations, 1 sw desert skiff, 1 forest police chinook, 1 dump truck, 1 nrg Zane, for about $160.

It finally worked, sort of .... Nothing in my cart was eligible EXCEPT Jabba's Palace, which was processed at the $119 sale price, not at $149. And shipping was free. Never would have guessed this as the outcome.
