I use this link to list all LEGO
LINK
Under each set is listed in red 1 of the following:
1. Ships Free with a purchase of $49 or more!**
2. HOT ONLINE PRICE!**
3. Buy 2 Get 3rd FREE!**
4. Online Only! 15% OFF $100 or more!**
If you don't see this I would recommend clearing the cache and cookies in the web browser you're using and trying loading the site again.
To maximize your savings with the B2G1 make sure your total order is over $49 for free shipping up to $20 since they got rid of ShopRunner eligibility for most sets.

Only certain sets are are labeled as
Buy 2 Get 3rd FREE!**. Are you sure the sets you selected are eligible? The discount is applied automatically when you view your shopping cart. The discount only works once per order.

They have to be eligible items. And it appears the two highest priced items need to be the identical price.
I would roughly estimate that 25% to 33% of the sets over $75 are eligible. It should say so specifically below the item's description.
MOST INTERESTING: the site appears to only lets you get 1 free item per transaction. So I had to complete my transaction for 3 of Jabba's Palace and then start an entirely new transaction to get another free item. While this is tedious, it has the GREAT benefit of getting you free shipping on just about every transaction. If you bought everything in one transaction, you would be limited to a $20 credit for shipping.
I've now done 6 transactions so, if all goes well, will be getting 6 free sets. Now comes the wait to make sure TRU doesn't cancel anything on me.

Looks like TRU finally wised up. All the big exclusive sets are excluded from the sale! Oh well, this is still a great deal, but I'm likely not buying anything.

TRU should be embarassed about saying that "All Lego Sets" are B2G1 free. The exclusions go way beyond Ninjago, Technic and Friends. All of the Modular sets are ineligible. It looks like all the Super Heroes sets are ineligible too (I checked down all of the sets above $50 and none were eligible). Both the Death Star and SSD are out. My top goal for this sale was to pick up some modular sets. Uggh.
That said, I have scored some great deals. The fact that TRU did not reset prices to their inflated levels was a pleasant surprise. And though I had to undertake six separate transactions, that probably saved me $100 in shipping costs. So all in all, I'm quite happy.

Prices will get reset sometime tomorrow. This is just the transition period between sales.

I've been eyeing the death star with a friend for a while and I was hoping to get 2 Death Stars and a Super Star Destroyer. I guess $720 for all 3 of them would have been way too good a deal, but even $800 for that would have been nice.

Super Heroes sets may be included in the sale even though the Buy 2 Get 3rd FREE!** legend does not appear underneath them. I just ordered 3 of the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape and got the third one free.

Boo Death Star TRU always figures out a way to not uphold the sale
I already bought a NISB Jabbas Palace for 78$...still works out to be a better deal and I only bought 1! What a waste of time camping this sale

I would only consider store pick up but seeing as my last order was cancelled for no reason, I'm just not going to deal with the headache that is TRU.

Disappointed that modulars may not be a part of B2G1 free. A bunch of other sets are showing B2G1 free, but not modulars Ended up getting 3 Battle of Endor battle packs with the several zombie Coffin Car polybags to get free shipping. Will check store out on Monday to see what scraps are left for B2G1. Collectible Minifigs are part of B2G1 so good deal if you find those in store.
I'm SHOCKED that the prices online appear to be MSRP for all the items I saw. Is this true in-store too or just for online pricing? The have listing price with the usual TRU tax, and have "their price" as MSRP price. The "reduced" (MSRP) pricing worked with B2G1 which only applies ONE time per order.

Well, I really wanted 2 death stars and a SSD but I couldn't help myself and ended up getting 3 palpatines arrests. Now I will have 2 to sell. It's a good deal anyway. TRU exclusive set, actually marked down to MSRP, and 1 free. On the bright side shipping for the 3 came out to 18ish dollars so it was 100% free instead of having to pay 16 bucks like it would have been with the larger sets. Not bad in the end

I'm bummed those didn't work, so I bought the Joker Funhouse since it's actually priced at a decent price!

Okay, I just got off the phone with TRU. I complained about the winter lego sets not being on the promotion, and the rep directed me to another department. It's like Special Relations, or something like that. They adjusted my order, and even let me place another order. The second order placed - 2 Death Stars and an SSD. He pushed through the promo!! So definitely call them up, but you might have to deal with the first helper, then they'll move you to another department and that department is miles better than the previous.

I just got off the phone with TRU and they refuse to honor any special sets. Their online/print ad states "Excludes Ninjago, Technic, Friends, video games & accessories. "
However, ONLINE, they added the following line: " Additional exclusions apply online."
I am going to file a complaint with the BBB on Monday over false advertising.
