The TRU sale just started yesterday, and I assume it runs for the week.

I think I have FOUR of the Death Stars already, but regardless, this is tempting! Super Star Destroyer, I just don't have the interest. I guess I don't see myself ever building the massive gray spike.

Wow, 2014? That's a long term commitment for a set. Maybe they saw that they stopped producing the big MF way too early as it tripled value in less than a year. I kick myself for not buying the last one at TRU.

I mentioned this deal to the wife, she actually said recently that I should have a death star for my collection, but her response was "10%? thats only 40 bucks, that's like nothing when the set is 400 dollars"

I've seen it for cheaper on ebay. This offer tempted me but she's right I should hold off.

Just so you know, the cheaper ones on ebay are usually scams. How do you suppose those ebay sellers can sell it for those prices, when they can't get it for less than 10% off, and have to pay ebay fees on top of it?

Followed through and bought one... couldn't get the no tax on it though Washington state sales there can't be any sales tax exemptions.

Also, PayPal has a 5% cash back deal right now, you need to make one purchase first on a PayPal qualified merchant and all PayPal purchases with any qualified merchants qualify for 5% cash back for a maximum of $20 per transaction. ToysRUs has the Death Star on sale as well for same price so I was able to get another $18 off.
