LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
Not sure if it was just a few VIP members (like the incident from July) but got my weekly e-mail from LEGO shop with free shipping over $75.
I usually trash them, but could be useful I guess. Keep your eyes out.

Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
Mine was just a promo for the mini modular set. No mention of free shipping.

better?
Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
Since the dates are the same, I think this is just a continuation of the same offer. Here's the old thread:

You all must be more important than me. My e-mail says free shipping if I spend $99 or more :-(

Bizarre. I received free shipping on $49 or over through September 30.

Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
I also received the email promoting the Mini Modulars, however, there's no free shipping to be had. I'm assuming that this is once again a US only deal?

I got the same thing and I'm in the US
Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
There was another forum topic on here that described this entire situation. Basically Lego is trying to figure out what price point to offer free shipping at. So they have sent about 20% of their VIP members offers for free shipping with different minimum purchase amounts (that's why you see free shipping for orders over $49, $75, or $100). They're doing research so that's why not everyone is getting this deal, but hopefully in the future they make free shipping (over a certain purchase minimum) an everyday thing like amazon.com, instead of offering it every once in a while.
Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
So everyone who got the promo for free shipping at $49 should place an order sufficient to get free shipping. Everyone who received the other promos, or no promo at all, should avoid a purchase. It would send a message.
Easy for me to say. I'm in Taiwan; they wouldn't ship to me in the first place.

Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
I say NOBODY ORDER and hold out for FREE SHIPPING with any purchase. Thats the message to send.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
Never going to happen. Too much cost to eat on small orders.anakinisvader wrote:I say NOBODY ORDER and hold out for FREE SHIPPING with any purchase. Thats the message to send.
Honestly, I'd be happy with free shipping on orders of $50 or more. It would probably get me to pick up must-have new sets from S@H instead of Amazon. Especially since I would be getting VIP points as well.

Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
$50 seems reasonable. $25 is a bit too low for LEGO.

Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
I agree. $50 is really not that hard to spend on S@H lolLegobrandon wrote:$50 seems reasonable. $25 is a bit too low for LEGO.
Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail
My wife and I are both VIP members, neither one of us got a free shipping email, and no discount is applied in the cart even if I'm over $100. Good job, way to tick off a loyal customer.
