Awesome! I picked up one fairytale minifig bundle, and 11 Train motors to use as trade fodder/ to sell because they were 5.48 (I was only gonna get 10 but 11 got me over $75 so I could get the mini sopwith)

Remember, you can get free shipping if your local LEGO store does not have the sale items in stock. ;) Thanks to LegoFanTexas for mentioning this.

Last time I was in Braintree, they told me they don't carry the educational line anymore. Big bummer because I like the weird packs of stuff.

Though I know Natick can be very different.

If these sets were 25% off at Amazon.com I wouldn't hesitate to buy some, but when you add shipping and tax it kind of kills the deal.

he's in colorado, so 3% tax is probably not much of an incentive for him to drive here.

Oregon, Montana, Alaska, Delaware and New Hampshire have no tax at all. Oregon (Portland) and Delaware (Newark) have LEGO Stores too. :)

You know I have not looked for the educational stuff in Braintree lately, interesting. I placed an order, but got an e-mail that it is back-ordered, not sure if will receive it.

Does anyone else have problems with the "Sales & Deals" page? It starts at the main page, but when I try to click to view pages "2" or "3" or to list more items per page, it keeps taking me to a general listing page that has nothing to do with sales and deals.

Ugh. I hesitated and missed out. I need to remember whenever something is 50% on S@H, buy then think later as they go right away. This was one set I sorta wanted, but not for full price. Worst case if I really want it, it's available at Amazon for $43 with free shipping and no tax. At ~20% off MSRP, I'm still iffy.

Stopped by LEGO store and they were sold out a long time ago when they discounted back then.
