Barnes and Noble - LOTR with 15% off

Post by brickity » Fri Jun 08, 2012 9:38 am

Lord of the Rings sets are available at Barnes and Noble now. Not bad for International shoppers with the 15% off coupon. US Shoppers can probably find better deals.

Use coupon code T4T8J4A for 15% off.

I implore everyone - keep this here! Do not post on Slick Deals at this time - we want to enjoy this for a bit.

Helm's Deep is MSRP ($130)
Mines of Moria is MSRP ($80)
Weathertop is already 16.7% off ($50)

20% off coupons for members:
V9N8W8R
H4V4K8D

15% off coupons for anyone (including members):
X4P8A3B
T4T8J4A
D7L8F8R - VISA required for payment

I have verified the 20% off member codes work for the LoTR sets. I have not yet checked the non-member codes (as I am a member).

Enjoy!

Thank you for the heads up! Picked up Mines of Moria with the discount. Almost $30 cheaper (taxes included) here in Canada. Good enough for me.

Attack at Weathertop is listed at 49.99 which is $10 cheaper then retail.

That's far more than 20% off on Weathertop (MSRP is $60). I just did the Walmart deal (basically Mines + Weathertop for $120 - $110 for me as I had a $10 gift card I'd never use). Wish I had waited - but that always happens. Shipped for $.97 and arrived overnight. No damage which is better than Amazon shipping has been for me as of late.

$51.05 shipped to Manitoba for Weathertop. I think that's a good enough deal to hit the front page. That's 32% off retail for Canada. I just placed my order.

This will be the first Lego series that B&N sells that I'm collecting. It's nice to be able to buy at close to US MSRP.

Thanks to the OP and for the heads up on Weathertop.

The Weathertop set is listed at a few cents shy of $50 now. As opposed to the $40 mentioned in the first post.

Very nice deal all around. Very nice job sharing those coupon codes.

Ahh, whoops - I'll edit the first post. Weathertop was always $50 - I just put $40 by mistake (although that's the price before tax, after using a coupon). Sorry about that.

Argh! This deal is pretty sweet...I must resist. I have to believe this will go lower somewhere someday!

This is a great deal and an even better post. Just ordered two Weathertop's with the 20% off coupons. Worked out to 33% off. Now I can build my Nazgul army. Thanks OP!

This post needs to be merged with this one, which is an even better deal (offering 20% off for members)

I just bought two weathertops (seperately) using the free membership and 20% off. With free shipping for members worked out to be about $40

Hopefully they get helmsdeep in the store, 10%member discount + coupon would be the way to go!

You can stack a member discount with the coupon code? We have a B&N membership, but my wife uses it - I tend to Amazon any thing that I want to read. Can you explain how this works?

Thanks!

In store (not online) The member card (not sure if there are different ones but the one im talking about costs $25/year) gets you 10% off pretty much everything in the store and in store coupons such as the x% off any one item coupons they have pretty often stack with it. It gives the 10% off then the coupon percent off the remaining price.

Works with the two month limited too, but again, the 10% stack is only in-store. ONline the membership (even 2 month) gives you free shipping, which is pretty sweet.

In store is not going to have Weathertop on sale likely (its currently 17% of MSRP before coupon) but if you can find LOTR in stores i suggest the membership + Kids Club 30% coupon for 40% off!!!

15% off I suspect, as opposed to 20%
