Picked up Venator Class Attack Cruiser, super cool looking, but a bit fragile in some parts. Can pick it up with handle, and can only be slightly modified. Paid $170 for it, but a small price to pay for such a beautiful model.

our local LEGO store (austin, tx) has marked stuff down 20% for a damaged box, but some only 10%.

i picked up the Power Miners lavatraz for 20% off this way.

Was at TRU on saturday and they had the new airport 3182 damaged box marked down to 69.90.
Wanted it, but didn't have the $$.
So I guess it counts as an almost steal.

I didn't realize TRU did damaged box markdown.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Two boxes of 8684 minifigures off of Bricklink. This should keep me busy adding them into my town for quite some time.

I bought the Minotaurus board game and the Magikus board game today. I'm a big fan of the board games as they're tons of fun and have a great amount of pieces and rare ones to boot! I will do reviews on the games I have (except Ramses' Pyramid, that game takes forever to set up and explain and I didn't have a lot of fun with it) after the contest ends.

Perhaps because it was damaged during shipping and was like that when they opened the box they new it wasn't a customer so they discounted it more.

I found a totally smashed SP3 Freeze Ray Frenzy last night at TRU & they said no discount unless it was missing pieces. After I thought about giving them the finger, I bought it anyway.

With the assistance of cheat sheet, I picked up 2 complete sets of Series 2 Collectible Minifigures in my local walmart this morning. Hooray.

i got a BN.com 50% coupon during the last "mystery" coupon which ends Aug 29. at first when i tried the coupon it didn't work on any of the lego sets so i gave up and didn't think much of it. over the weekend when i had some time to spare, i added a whole bunch of lego sets just to see which one it will work on and surprising it worked on the white house set. (it also worked on the DK books).

so i ended up stacking the white house and the wampa hoth set for $48 (+tax) out the door and free shipping! hassle free shopping, shipped right to your doorstep!

hint: the wampa was on d/c for 10% off. and i stacked it to get the $10 off $50 toy offer. ;)

Spent $10 CDN at a yard sale yesterday picking up a bag of castle LEGO.

All pieces are from the early 90's and in excellent condition.

Turns out I have over ten complete sets (25-150 piece size sets) in the haul (biggest complete set is the sea serpent ship). More than 50 minifigs and a 90-95% complete black knights castle (missing the very critical base). I have a feeling they still have it but just put it somewhere separate. Thinking about going back to the house to see if they can look for it :)

Saturday I bought 7741 Police Helicopter.
I had no intention of buying it, but was at Target with my daughter and she liked it, so decided to pick it up. Anything under $10 is an easy buy.

Glad I did, it's a nice little set.
It came with 2 sets of handcuffs, I'm really digging those, got 2 with CMF cop too.
Now I need to get a police car that can have a criminal in the back seat.

Picked up 8403 City House & 3180 Tank Truck yesterday during the shopping trip for the final odds & ends kids' school supplies trip. Had to do a great deal of organizing other broken down sets into my cabinet, so I only got to do the City House. The solar panels may be the best stickers of any set.

I want to get the CITY House.
No one around has it.
Is it only at Target and S@H?

That's a good question...that I don't have the answer to. The Target I went to yesterday was the first place I'd seen it. My wife & step daughters love pancakes & if funds allow we try to go on Sunday mornings. I looked it up on target.com before we left, found it at only one Charlotte area store, & picked the pancake joint near there to go to so we could stop by after. Who said we were out to get the last of the girls' school supplies?
