Thanks TRU.
Similar thing happened to me a month ago. They rung it up for one penny.

Read the post about discontinued 10188's last night and ordered 4 this am, one to actually build and three to 'let grow' for a while....... then I see that they are available again on amazon. Oh well, they can't be around too much longer, can they?
My latest steals were T/S Lotso's dump truck for $7, T/S Duplo Jessie for $5 and a couple S/W midi scale star destroyers for $10.
Happy Building, Brian

Got the following off Craigslist from one guy:

#10190 Market Street, no box, but with instructions
#10182 Cafe Corner. no box or instructions
#10179 1st edition Millennium Falcon w/ certificate of authenticity, original box and spiral bound instructions
#2009 Employee gift Heart
#4899 City Tractor x3
#7305 Scarab Attack
#7804 Lizard
#7949 Prison Carriage Rescue x3
#40009 Holiday Building Set x5

Everything else was unopened. Prices were VERY reasonable and feel like I got an awesome deal. Never thought I would get the first three, but can cross those off my life list!

Very nice evil, I'm jelous =) I want Market Street and Cafe corner, but not gonna pay the blackmail on Ebay.

I ran into a nice little deal myself. Got this Lego Chess set for $80 shipped. Used 1 time. Sorry for the blurry picture, my camera is not the best, nor is my picture taking ability.

I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

@ Luciant....this guy sold them at an unbelievable price and am glad he did, because , like yourself, there was no way I was going to pay the inflated rates on ebay for the first three on my list above....Lego gods were smiling upon me.

PS. Nice chess set!

wow that is a score. Wouldnt it be great if lego made a chess set w/ starwars or harry potter figs? I'd buy it.

Bought five 7949 Prison Carriage Rescues at Walmart today on sale for $5 each. Forgetting the other pieces, that's 20 knights and horses for $1.25 each. Nice addition to the castle armies.

Now I just need the Star Wars Snowtrooper battle packs to go on sale...

Northern Cal. I cleaned them all out of my local WM. Thinking about going to the next closest one just to see if they have them.
