Picked up two Star Wars Gungan Subs (9499) at Target for $15 each. They were on clearance, someone had hidden them in the kid's section.

Jealous! I always wanted Discovery Lab but as a child I was poor. Did you get them off ebay?

Nice. Too many dealers in my area sucking up all the LEGO.

Just bought a LEGO 10235 WINTER VILLAGE MARKET at ebay for $85.66. I know it is not really a deal. The only reason I bought it is I am collecting all the winter village sets. Maybe we will see it on sale early next year.

Was at Walmart yesterday and they had a couple sets out for sale that aren't supposed to be released until 1/1/14. Saw the race car (60053) and had to have it.

My local TRU manager let me apply my (expired) extra 20% off clearance and the (Chima/SW only) BOGO40 to his last pair of Cars Bentley Bust-Out sets, already marked down to 39.98. He looked relieved to finally have them off his hands. I have bought quite a few of these sets (great for parts) at deep discounts in recent months, but this was my best score. Less than 4 cents per piece!

Dang, I'm jealous. My walmart clearance are jokes, like .97 cents off... My only find today was the TMNT Target Practice poly bag from Target for 1.99 each. I bought all 4 that were left. That's great just for the Krang alone in my opinion. I'm goin to have to check out a TRU though to see their clearance items.

Was just at my local Walmart and the only thing the had was the Vampyre Castle on clearance for $69.99. They had two of them but I just really wasn't that interested in them.

They had one of the new Castles in a smashed box but I couldn't find a manager to see if thy could knock some money off of it since it was so badly damaged. I think the new castle is a pretty sweet set. I want to pick one up eventually. Just not full price with a smashed box.

Have you ever had any luck convincing a manager to offer a discount for a damaged box?

Yes. I was at a store and the Lego box was actually cut from someone cutting through the box too far when stocking the shelves. He gave me the set for 1/2 off. I would have been fine with 25%, but certainly wasn't saying no to 50%.
It never hurts to ask.

Got to a local Walmart today and they had 7 sets of Alien Conquest UFO Abduction for $14.50/each. I picked up one. I am partially tempted to go back and buy the rest if I know I can flip them pretty quick.
Also picked up a LEGO Atlantis Deep Sea Raider 7984 for $20. They had one more but decided I didn't need two of these.

I'm so happy had some saved money and ordered 5 of the Lego movie sets.
Maybe you guys would like a review? I should have them this week.

Spotted some holiday polys at Target for $1.19 each! Only found one train, one Friends desk, but got 6 TMNT Krangs. I went to a second Target, but they were already wiped out.

Went back to try and get money off the Castle and the manager offered me $10 off on it. I told him no thanks. Then another manager informed me that the full toy clearance section will be set up after 1/1 and it would probably be in there for even more of a discount since it's damaged. Guess I'll be making another trip. :what?:

I got some small Lego sets for 70% off at a local grocery store.
TMNT Krang lab escape $3.90 - stealth shell pursuit $6
Iron Man Extremis sea port battle $6 - Mandarin showdown $3.90
Superman Metropolis showdown $3.90
Galaxy squad space swarmer $3.60 Chima Razcal Glider - $3.60
Star Wars Clone troopers droidekas $3.90 - Republic vs Sith troopers $3.90
Hobbit wizard battle $3.90
City fire chief car $3.90 - 4x4 & diving boat $6 - stunt plane $6
but I had to hit quite a few stores to find these as they are almost completly gone. These stores are owned by Kroger so I am not sure if any of them may have them.

At Meijer's (in store) in Lexington KY I found some markdowns (changing inventory I'm sure)
$38.00 LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Seaside House (7346)
$29.00 LEGO Ninjago Samurai Mech (9448)
$60.00 LEGO Ninjago Ultra Sonic Raider (9449)
$15.00 LEGO The Lone Ranger Comanche Camp

I'm broke at the moment and holding out for sets that I simply HAVE to have before retirement so I didn't buy any but I was very tempted. Especially with the Samurai Mech and Seaside House.
