[USA] Fred Meyer Buy 2 Get 1 FREE on ALL* LEGO

Post by Toys N Bricks » Sun Jan 15, 2012 12:02 pm

Update: Use their weekly home coupon to receive an extra 10% off on top of the sale! (thanks BB.206 and tikirobot)

Steve writes in to let us know of this week's LEGO sale from Fred Meyers. *For those that do not know, Fred Meyers is a supermarket retailer in Northwest Pacific with stores in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
Fred Meyers has a sale this week. Buy two legos and get one for FREE. Does not includes Friends, Games or clearance. BUT it did include sales items. I just got a $70 set for FREE.

Minifig series 6 was in stock; they didn't ring up as B2G1 but the cashier applied the sale price for me with no issues.

Yeah, I bought 20 series 6 minifigs there Friday night.
It was not in their systems/computer. So they used a Series 5 to ring the Series 6 up.
Same price. Might be like this in all of their stores?

I also got the series 6 minifigures for the sale price but they double checked and tripled checked before applying the buy 2 get one free.

At the 4th Fred Meyer, the LEGO signs had handwritten "and minifigures" after the "excludes all Friends, Clearance" line. So you might want to get these sooner rather than later. I think in the next few days, they might stop giving people the discount on the series 6.

Don't forget to combine it with the bonus home coupon this week -- 10% off. It works out to 40% if you get three sets that are the same price. The coupon can be found in the weekly ad available in the store.

If you check the weekly flyer, they are also offering an additional 10% off "Home", which includes all toys! (darn, someone beat me to it - sorry for the repeat)

I have a sister in Boise, ID and she was able to get me series 6 BTGO plus 10% off. With all the discounts applied series 6 will end up costing me less than any other series. :-D

The only new sets I've seen are a few Ninjago -- set 9445, 9456, and 9558. They put them out at the same time as series 6 minifigures -- at least at the few Fred Meyers I've gone to. They had most of the Dino sets from what I saw -- I remember seeing set 5882, 5886, 5885, and 5884. The only super hero set I saw was the Batcave.

man if I could find batcave for the BtGo I think I would jump on it. I swung by the Newberg store and bought 30 S6 for the BTGO deal plus 10%. no questions asked. They were slim on everything. Few Ninjago but nothing else.

Too bad I could not make it to the nearest Fred Meyer this week. It was a great, not only was it at US MSRP, there was a BOGO deal and on top of that was a 10% off coupon. I am hoping for a similar sale in the coming weeks.

Same here. Would love to pick up some of the new Super Heroes and Star Wars sets. Sale + lower regular prices + lower taxes = 50% off in Canada.

I found some new Star wars sets today -- wish I found them yesterday. I wanted to pick up a few of the Endor battle packs and droid escape sets. Hopefully they have another sale like this soon.

Drove down south and went to a Fred Meyer store for the first time. When I walked into the LEGO isle I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 sealed boxes of series 6 minifigures. There was one already heavily picked through. I felt 10 of my favourites and bought them with a 10% off coupon. The final price was $2.69 each. That is almost a dollar savings if I purchased these in Canada. Too bad I missed out on the buy two get one free deal, then I would of have save a whole lot of money.
