I wonder if the sale will start on time or late like uk. Lets hope the deals are better than this.
Re: [US/CA] LEGOShop Boxing Day 2011 LEGO Deals
The North American sales are a little better, but not that much. There are a few 30-75% off sets, but probably not the ones that everyone wants. Plus, some of them are already sold out/not even listed anymore. Majority are 20% off.
If anyone is planning to stay up hoping for some online exclusives, don't bother. Theres only 1 set that will be on sale (not including the Winter ones). I bet you all got it at a better price last week already.

obi-wan jedi starfighter!
what about kingdoms sets? since LOTR has been announced, all kingdoms sets have been snapped up. you can't even find the village raid in b&n.

I'm finally done organizing the list, man, that took way longer than I expected! The list will be revealed in 3 hours.
There's a lot more sets discounted compared to UK/Europe/Australia. 75% are on LEGO sets while the remaning 25% are on LEGO Accessories/Video Games. Both catergories have stuff ranging from 20-75% off.

Considering all of them are all sold out/not listed, it wouldn't matter much if there was a sale or not. Even if they are instock, the discount is very weak.natelite wrote: what about kingdoms sets? since LOTR has been announced, all kingdoms sets have been snapped up. you can't even find the village raid in b&n.
Its only for those from the US. If you are from Canada, then LEGO Shop has the best deal for this set so far. Having said that, I still think its rather expensive and not an appealing set at all.Legobrandon wrote:What is this set you are mentioning?Ice wrote:If anyone is planning to stay up hoping for some online exclusives, don't bother. although my house has been flooded with lego sets this holiday season, I'm still looking forward to seeing what's on the list. The only big set I'm looking for at the moment is the Pet Shop, but depending on the discount, I may consider many more.
side note about the Kingdoms sets, I really hope they continue since my wife is into the series and we can actually share this obsession of lego together. She's already telling me she wants the Joust set sooner rather than later.

Is there any train stuff on that list or am I stuck paying MSRP? :PIce wrote:Its only for those from the US. If you are from Canada, then LEGO Shop has the best deal for this set so far. Having said that, I still think its rather expensive and not an appealing set at all.

There aren't many and the discount isn't good on them either.AshleyAshes wrote: Is there any train stuff on that list or am I stuck paying MSRP? :P

Is the sale in-store usually different than online? That will be a deciding factor as to which mall I will go to tomorrow morning...
Re: [US/CA] LEGOShop Boxing Day 2011 LEGO Deals
Last year I went to two stores. One had deals very, very different from online, the other identical. But that was last year, so who knows.Toronadian wrote:Is the sale in-store usually different than online? That will be a deciding factor as to which mall I will go to tomorrow morning...

Can anyone (preferably those in California) confirm the 50% off AC and Kingdoms tomorrow rumor?

@UnknownUser I'm not in CA, but the list I have seen has a few Kingdoms sets discounted, but not by a huge amount. About $13 off Mill Village Raid, and some smaller sets at discount. But not 50% (or anywhere near it) that I can tell. Closer to 20% off. No Alien Conquest was on the list.
Of course - we can't be 100% certain until the sale goes live in the US, and physical stores COULD have other items discounted. But everything I am hearing about this one is that it may not even be worth the trip.

For the online portion of the sale is everything listed in the Sales and Deals section or are they hidden/ given a special location? Thought I'd take a look and see what's up tonight.

Wait so is there a list of this that is going to be available prior to the sale? Sort of like the Europe one? I'm a bit confused now as the sale is going live in around half an hour.

I'm just eager to see what's on sale and weather the savings will justify the cost of S&H or if I should just pay MSRP at TRU tomorrow and save by virtue of not paying for any shipping.
