Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
I think they just did not expect that many orders... given that they did run out of the second Christmas set... they must have quiet the backlog of orders to fill.
Hopefully they will have a better sale on after Christmas (boxing day...) :)

Imperial Flagship back in-stock on LEGO.com.
Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Now that the extra 10% off sale is over - I bet some folks who got their order cancelled are rather upset...sidersdd wrote:Imperial Flagship back in-stock on LEGO.com.
If you're really interested in the Emerald Night - it has 'Call to check Product Availability' as status... worth a shot if you still want it...

i ordered one, now to wait and see if it actually ships.sidersdd wrote:Imperial Flagship back in-stock on LEGO.com.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!
Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Keep in mind they also lost a ton of stock due to that coding error where they allowed people to actually buy the #2 holiday set. Most of those orders ended up shipping and I'm sure that put a heck of dent given how many people probably took advantage of it in mass.

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
You can bet I'm going to be calling and asking why my order of a flagship got cancelled when they are listed it as being available right now (at full price no less). I am having serious deja vu to when TRU did the exact same thing to me on the flagship two years ago. I guess I must be fated to never own one of these or something.
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?
Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Fully agree with this - those practices remind of TousRUs ones. One would expect better from TLG... I would expect that they still honor the 10% off for all those who tried to order it prior!hatcher wrote:You can bet I'm going to be calling and asking why my order of a flagship got cancelled when they are listed it as being available right now (at full price no less). It is listed as available and at full price, but if you add it to your cart, it shows up as 25% off. I am thinking their website is just majorly screwed up! I wrote them a lengthy complaint email and didn't even receive verification they received it. I will also be calling later.hatcher wrote:You can bet I'm going to be calling and asking why my order of a flagship got cancelled when they are listed it as being available right now (at full price no less). My IFS was also cancelled, AND they charged my card for an incorrect order amount (charged $52.xx, should have been charged $40.49 - 25% off $59.99 and 10% off the resulting $44.99), since I had the Winter Toy Shop also on the order.
Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
I posted this elsewhere but I got this mystery order and cc charge I am trying to clear with them. Yesterday I got sick of waiting and hung up. This morning they said the offices were closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Did anyone get through to a live person yet? Their website is seriously messed up, live phone bank down, seriously this is awful service at this point.
EDIT: I tried to add the IFS to My Bag and it does list as sold out still, for those angry about it being cancelled.

It is worth a point to say that while indeed for the money they charge, the service should be top notch, these are toys and are not worth getting all bothered over.
Even if they cancel all my orders, life will go on. :)

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Yeah, the same happened to me (high tax amount) when purchasing the Winter Toy shop and IFS (the ship was cancelled). The amount is totally wrong.evo8hks wrote:make sence of this:

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Same here, I called them yesterday at 6:50 pm PST and by 7:25 pm PST, I was still waiting. Got so tired of waiting so I hung up. I was planning to order 2 AT-ATs because the site showed them as call to check availability. Oh well.cstojano wrote:Yesterday I got sick of waiting and hung up. I guess they still billed him tax on the 2 emerald nights even though it was cancelled.ncbarrett wrote:Wow, where do you live? that is some tax.evo8hks wrote:...

Though, if they fix it up, $3.99 for the holiday set and magnet is a good deal!
Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
After 30 minutes on hold, the guy inform me that my order has not been cancel, but is on back order. His name was Alex and I'm pretty sure he was stoned.
Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
check your credit card statement. that's not the amount that went through.
one of my order was the birthday party kit with the IFS. the IFS got cancelled and the order looks like this:
Subtotal $39.99
Shipping $ 0.00
TAX $ 9.76
Discounts -$15.50
Order Total $27.74
actual charge was $19.24 ($19.99 [50%]- 2.00 [10%]+ 1.25 [tax]).

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
For those that don't know. Be careful when you're dealing with their phone customer service. When the mainland (U.S.) phones fill up it diverts to overseas help. They are USELESS and will just give lip service which is often wrong. Once you've called enough you can tell by how the phone rings/answers when you call. you can also ask them and they'll tell you. I even had them tell me that they couldn't help at all and to wait to get a hold of a REAL Lego person. Just my 2 cents but thought I'd throw it out there.

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Am I like the only person out there who has had no problem with their BF order? My credit card was charged the expected amount and my order (IF, Holiday set, Tank Truck, etc) shipped within 48 hours. The last thing to happen was that the VIP points didn't show up till yesterday on my account.....
I guess S@H wont be doing any more deals like this since it seems to have cause so many problems and unhappy customers.
