[US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011

For me, Saturday Deal is much better than Black Fridady. Most of the items on sale are on my wishlist. I always thought that S@H does offer deal for clearance items only. What a surprise with this latest selections. On the other hands, 25% - 50% off from S@H with excellent customer service is a good deal, better than "BOGO 50% off" deal. So I ordered ....

1 AT-AT Walker (25% off)
1 Mill Village Raid (25% off)
1 POTC Battle Pack (50% off)
1 Alien Conquest Battle Pack (50% off)

Just slightly over $149 to get 10% off. I am still struggling on Earth Defense HQ.

Hah! That was my order, too. LOL

I would hold off on Earth Defense. It was discounted on Amazon (~$72) for weeks, and as low at $63 for a while. I suspect it will be clearanced off at 50% or better after the holidays.

Just an FYI - The 10211 Grand Emporium wasn't on the sale, but it is now listed as "SOLD OUT".

weird, you'd think the Fire Brigade would be sold out before since it's the older of the two. Prices on Amazon for the Emporium have been all over the place for the last couple of weeks.

AT-AT Walker sold out in CAN, oh well, luckily it's only 25% off which TRU here do have them on for at least 20% anyway. Otherwise I will cry if it was 50% off that I missed!

Got the AT-AT just in time - hopefully they won't cancel it! Oh well, if they do I will get the other set in my order plus the holiday set and 10% off.

If you still want the AT-AT Walker watch throughout the day and see if it becomes avaliabe again.

Does anyone think they will put some additional sets on sale for Cyber Monday? I have a gut feeling that they just might...

For those in the CA area and missed out on the $112 Tantive IV the Lego store at Santa Clara (the Valley Fair mall) still has them in stock.

Anyone else have a mystery charge show up on the credit cards from the BF sale? I have two charges in the 140 range, one is the Flagship the other is listed on my Lego ID account history but pulls up an error when I click the order number. I have no clue what this is.

This is really strange. All of the items are in stock, but not on the sale page anymore. They have the sale prices once you add them to your cart. I ordered an AT-AT earlier this way. I just received an email that my item is out of stock, not cancelled. I went back on the website and I still can go through checkout and put an AT-AT or any of the sale items in my cart at sale prices and it list them as in stock. This is odd as the other day my order got cancelled. So, are they "in stock" or is the website totally messed up again?

I was told by the staff at the store that you will need to "mention" the 10% discount from the S@H for them to honor it. I purchased something yesterday without the 10% and they credit me back the different when I return and ask for it today.

10211 Grand Emporium now listed as "Out of Stock - Will Ship Dec 17" instead of "SOLD OUT". However, Earth Defence HQ is now listed as "SOLD OUT".

I sometimes wonder about their off/on/off inventory...

It seems like the Holiday Set promotion is over... they don't have it advertised on the main page anymore (the banner).

It still adds to the Shopping Cart though. So if you want the set I would place an order expediently before it's too late...

Yes, the free set promotion is now over. Apparently, those 5 extra marked down sets were meant for Cyber Monday. AT-AT Walker and Earth Defense HQ is now sold out.
