[US] B&N Black Friday sale
There's rumor of a one-day only sale for 50% off one item from the educational toys & games section. this is an in store deal.
finally! a bf deal worth getting up for! don't forget to "thank" me.

Too bad, it is for in-store only. However, selection from in-store is always limited.
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
It is possible they would have a larger selection for black fridaylegohunter wrote:Too bad, it is for in-store only. However, selection from in-store is always limited.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
Does anyone have a link to this rumored coupon?

Yesterday at B&N store, I spotted LEGO 4195 - Queen Anne's Revenge.....
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
I'd say reserve the item via "pick-up-in-store." They hold it for 3 days. So take a look on-line Wednesday for items you want.
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
there's no coupon. it's bf sale. just show up and purchase item.sadowsk1 wrote:Does anyone have a link to this rumored coupon?
btw, members do not get another 10% off. it's capped at 50%.
as mentioned, best way to make use of this is to buy item via pick up in store on wednesday and pick up on friday for 50% off!

Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
my B&N always has terrible selection. Usually only a few police sets which my son already has. Is pick up in store only for in-stock items or do they do ship to store?

I'm having doubts they'll let people buy stuff at 50% off if it's been on hold. Isn't that similar to a special order in which they generally do not let people use coupons, etc. for. Anyone ever do this before?sidersdd wrote:I'd say reserve the item via "pick-up-in-store." They hold it for 3 days. So take a look on-line Wednesday for items you want.
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
I've done this with the 30% coupon a few times with no problem. Going to do it with the 40% coupon today. Always possible for them to make a exception for the 50%, but doubtful.hardtravelinghero wrote:I'm having doubts they'll let people buy stuff at 50% off if it's been on hold. Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
Has anyone seen an "official' ad or email for this sale? It would definitely be the one sale worth taking advantage of on BF.
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
check your email in the tomorrow. it should be there.
i think this sale is no longer relevant since most folks have already used the 40% coupon to get all the good stuff. use bn.com and check the stock of the sets that you want. most stores are already cleared out by now except for the less preferred sets.

Thanks, natelite. Got the email today (it's also on their homepage). Any speculation if the member discount will work? It's been working great for me during this current 40% off coupon. Seems like it should since there is not even a coupon with a list of restrictions.

Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
Nate, what is "the good stuff"? My local B&N in East Northport, NY had plenty with the exception of POTC. Some of the clerks were OK with the idea of using multiple coupons, one was not. Might go back tomorrow and get the $100.00 castle...or maybe wait till Black Friday...though I'll be out-of-state. Anyone think the store hold will work?natelite wrote:check your email in the tomorrow. it should be there.

Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
i meant whatever is popular in your area. go to bn.com and search for lego. next check for store quantity by using the "pick up in store" link. most of the larger sets like kingdom castle, alien conquest truck, and sw frigate are gone.hardtravelinghero wrote: Nate, what is "the good stuff"? My email says online and in stores for the 50% off. But QAR has note it doesn't qualify for couponss unless expressly stated. So will it work or not?
Re: [US] B&N Black Friday sale
the only way to know is to try it on friday at 12:01am.jsnweitzel wrote:My email says online and in stores for the 50% off. But QAR has note it doesn't qualify for couponss unless expressly stated. So will it work or not?

This makes me wonder, is the BF 50% sale good in-stores only?starfire2 wrote:My BN isn't opening until 8:00am
