It's good online as well.

Just to be 100% sure, Lego falls into the 'educational toy and game' category, right? :???:

I've been using the educational toy coupon in the stores for Lego, so I'd imagine so.

I think they also offer free shipping on everything (or just books?) on orders over $25.00.

The sale online probably begins at midnight?

Black Pearl anyone?

By the way, someone mentioned BN not including Lego in future 40% off sales...if you're reading this, what's your source?

It isgood online too but may not include Lego as it currently reads on Lego items "this item does not qualify for any coupons, promotions or discounts"

The 50% starts tomorrow but yeah it's extremely likely that legos would be exempt from the sale...

The sale includes LEGO. This is a fact.

It does exclude adult toys, which include the architecture sets, so you won't be able to get 50% off those.

Right now I'm torn between the fire temple, city of atlantis and the sith infiltrator. Which one should I buy at 1/2 off? I'm kinda leaning towards city of atlantis as its going to be discontinued very soon...

While City of Atlantis will be discontinued soon, I don't think it's going to be hard to find half off or more, at places like Target. Atlantis tends to sell slowly compared to other sets, and is fairly easy to snag while on clearance.

I don't see any coupon to print out for this sale. Anybody see anything special?

I was at my local store recently and they had a better assortment than they had ever had before. Maybe 20 different sets vs 5 previously. I noticed that the sets were on the outside peremeter of the kids area vs inside as before. Didn't think much of it at that time but I wonder if the new location has anything to do with excluding lego from future sales.

so how does this work? I expected to see an online code to enter. It is not obvious to me which items are 50% off. Can anybody explain? I don't want to go all the way through checkout and not get the discount.

thx

I can't seem to understand how the 50% off works either. I just clicked the link that says shop now but there isn't any sort of code nor is anything 50% off right now.

Like the coupons that have been used throughout the year, I doubt the 50% off works with LEGO on-line. B&N.com just seems to have a policy to not allow these discounts on LEGO products on-line. It has almost always worked in-store however.

Well this is disappointing. There is no coupon.. the sale appears to be on select items only

Entire list is here:
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s?CAT=102 ... oy&sort=SA

There's no easy way to search through it.

IF an item is on sale, it will say so on the product page. For example:
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/toys-ga ... 5556113910

Eligible items will be tagged "50% Off Toy Offer details" when you click through, although there is a an index of eligible toys, which you can filter to only show eligible LEGO.

Yeeaaaaah, no actual LEGO sets -- just clocks, watches, radios and other non-set items.

Very disappointed.

Hopefully folks have better luck in-store, but my closest store is 80 miles away... :(

I just tried adding a Kreo set and the discount was automatic. So Lego is excluded but Kreo is ok.

Oh well. guess I will try at the store. I have time to kill.
