it's already sold out at 40% off. crazy. let's hope the ninjago spinners will be better than 50% off. i'm looking to get one for gifting. i'm not biting otherwise.
Zeya wrote: Looks like this is shaping up to be correct so far. The Atlantis one just came up (noon PST). We'll see how low they get on the PQ pyramid, but anything less than half off is a no-go for me.
that's not the PQ pyramid. just search for the description (or key phrase) on google and you'll know which set it is. that deal is on the ramses pyramid. my guess is that it will be down to $9.99.

the ninjago set is the starter pack with jay. msrp of $19.99.
happymark wrote:the palpatine's shuttle was a good deal though. (if you like PT. or for kids)
not really. poor ship design. poor mf selection. it won't sell well in the after market. so unless you really want a disfigured anakin, most lego sw fans skip this set. 50% off is only a good deal if you really want it.

It was gone in less than 2 minutes as best as I could tell. And then I was after more than 500 people on the wait list.

I really want some Lego crabs!

No, I say it was gone in 10 seconds. Once it popped up I had a 10 second hesitation and by the time I clicked the link *Waitlist* fortunately I got one!

No deal was found for Ninjago Garmadon’s Dark Fortress 2505? It was a waste of my time to stand by for this deal.

Are you limited to getting one per customer?

one per person and crappy deal requires amazon prime. unless you feel like paying for shipping. got the motorbike as a test but didn't buy it since i dont have prime. and can't figure out what else to get since everything else is crappily priced.

If you don't have amazon prime, one trick I've used with lightening deals is to pre-shop for a bunch of smaller sets, $5-10 dollars, that I wouldn't mind having. Place these in your cart but 'save for later'. Then when a lightening deal comes up, you already have filler on hand and picked out to get to the $25 minimum.

of course, now that amazon gives 15 minutes to complete the order, this is less necessary than before.

Another option is to sign up for Amazon Mom.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/mom/signup/inf ... ative=9325" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

[and, no, you dont have to be a Mom to sign up]. 3-month free trial to Prime shipping, extendable to 12 months depending on what you buy. 'tis the season to have it.

ya...but i don't feel like lying just to get free shipping though. my kids are potty trained and no longer need diapers. plus, even when they weren't i never buy diapers from amazon anyway.

Yeah in 15 seconds 35% were gone. I could have gotten it, but I pasted. I think they only have like 100 and want to get rid of them and create some hype.

I was one of the lucky ones I guess. Those little guys don't generally go down and a pretty good price for a lot of unique parts (not just 2x4s).

Had the Atlantis set in my cart and it vanished before I could do the checkout. It looks like the google chrome app that shows all the hidden deals and prices which worked last year just gives an error now.

it's stupid to even buy ramses at $9.99 as that's the msrp now. this goes to show shoppers are irrational and only care about the number preceding the % symbol. why on earth would they buy that crap ramses when you can get that any time of the week from target, S@H, and wherever else.

If you weren't able to snag Ramses Return for the $9.99 price, don't worry, they are going for the same price at Target. Plus, I only think this game is worth it for the baseplate. The game is very confusing and is hard to understand how to play, especially for children.

Some of the 2x4 and 2x6 tan bricks looked appealing too. I don't think I have any of those, or much tan at all really.
