Can you use these codes in store at checkout?DadsAFOL wrote:The Hillside House price is $52.49 today. Buying two of these also stacks with the HOLIDAYTOYS11 code for $15 off $100. Net price would be $45 each.

I was going to, but I had a few things going against that....Ice wrote:You should have gotten the Maersk Train with it too as Toys R Us overpriced it to $129.99. So based on retail...43.75% off Cargo Train and 25% of Maersk Train is still decent. Even out the savings = 35.8% off.
For this week, the best deals would be the Toys R Us Truck for $24.99 (reg.$39.99 or 37.5% off retail) and Skeleton Bowling for $19.99 (reg.$29.99 or 33.3% off retail). Good deal when combined with the coupon code.
-Already had the Maersk Train (From S@H)
-Already had purchased the Cargo Train (TRU)
I didn't really wanna run the Credit Card up even more, especially with the Wife's birthday this week. I didn't get around to returning it while BOGO was going on :( I also figured I paid $129.99, so I would get the $119.99, use a coupon to get the $10 Gift Card for a purchase of $75 or more, then get the Display Case since they were out online. I also had a $5 TRU Bucks that expires in 2 days. I figured the $10 GC was in store only, and I have another Coupon I can use as well (got mailed 2 somehow), so after all that, It worked out to be the same and i got the Display case.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

It seems that they are going to have a promotion on the large minifigure display because I asked if they have more of the free minifigure display... And they said that they are sold out of them...I pointed out the ones that they have in the customer service desk thinking they were the small ones and they said "those are the large ones that we are holding them for a later promotion"

So if purchase online, better wait before the 'LEGO free gift' comes back in stock
Re: [USA] ToysRUs LEGO Sale: November 13-19
My local TRU never even had them in stock for the promo. Same thing with the SW promo case the week before. TRU is running "bogus / misleading" sales. ( at least in my neck of the woods )openrice wrote:Is 'FREE LEGO GIFT with purchase!' running out?
And they've already marked up the prices for all new 2012 Lego sets as well.
Re: [USA] ToysRUs LEGO Sale: November 13-19
My TRU is the same, they rarely have the free promo items. Was surprised they had the magnets for Bricktober, in the last 6 months it's the ONLY freebie they've had.

Just noticed that the 'free LEGO gift w/ purchase' page at toysrus.com has been updated, with an option to include the christmas tree poly bag. Not as good a deal as the minifig holder, but its better than nothing.
Re: [USA] ToysRUs LEGO Sale: November 13-19
Ninjago Skeleton Bowling was actually 17.49 when I bought it yesterday in Sacramento. The sign on the shelf said 19.99, so maybe it was adjusted for the lack of a minifig display promo they didn't have in stock?

Is 82.50 a good deal on the Battle of Endor?

It's not terrible, but it's not great. It's normally $100.00 MSRP (unlike TRU's $110.00). I got it when they allowed Star Wars as part of BOGO 1/2 a few weeks ago, so if the prices of the two sets are averages I got it a little cheaper at about 25% off instead of 1%7 or whatever 82.50 is, if you mean USD.Gr1226 wrote:Is 82.50 a good deal on the Battle of Endor?
Plus, because of its age, I bet the Lego Stores have it half off after the stores close on X-Mas Eve or Day liek they did last year with Home One and the Venator.
