[USA][Target] Clearance
Another general clearance topic, this time for Target.
I found 3855 Ramses Return at the Framingham, MA store on a Clearance endcap in the toy section for $7.48 -- base price $14.99.

Oooh! 16x16 dark tan plate in that Ramses Return! Plus tan tiles!
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
I went to 3 Targets tonight, all had the Ramses Return for $7.99 as a price cut, not clearance. Also all had Ramses Pyramid price cut to $9.99! East side of Columbus stores if anyone needs some.

{* shrug *} My box had a "clearance" sticker on it.sydra wrote:I went to 3 Targets tonight, all had the Ramses Return for $7.99 as a price cut, not clearance.
Hmmnn. I'll have to go back and look for that.sydra wrote:Also all had Ramses Pyramid price cut to $9.99! East side of Columbus stores if anyone needs some.
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Just got back from Target, and they also had Ramses Return $7.49, and Ramses Pyramid for $9.99.
Nabbed 1 Ramses Return, although I'm thinking I might go snag another. I bought 2 Pyramids since they are 66% off. Worth it just for the huge base plate alone, much less all the extra goodies. I will probably go back tomorrow after hitting up TRU for the final Bricktober magnet and snag a few more... $10 is just too good of a price for the Pyramid considering the plates sell for like $15 alone.

I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Found the same two deals at Target in Central New York.
Also found another Lego Game on clearance.
The new Lego Champion game was already on clearance for $17.48 which is 50% off.

Ramses Pyramid $9.98 <- Already had this one from a Wal Mart clearance at $15

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Banana Balance is a great set for tree limb elements(12 6x5 green) at $4.98. They cost about .30 - 40 cents each on bricklink, over .50 if for any decent quantity plus shipping. I might have to go look for more!
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
I think I spoiled myself with 3 PAB Cups that I bought recently. Buying so many pieces for $15 made me balk at buying Banana Balance or more Ramses Returns...

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Were you able to get the banana pieces and the leaves elements from PAB? All I ever see are just normal bricks. I live too far from a lego store to visit every weekend. If I ever saw mf accessories in the PAB slots I would fill up like 20 large cups! Just keep them coming guys! That's what I'd say to the staff!Luciant wrote:I think I spoiled myself with 3 PAB Cups that I bought recently. Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Never seen any Banana pieces, but I have seen different foliage elements before. I've seen the leaves and the flower bases. I think I've even other forms as well, just wasn't into it at the time. They are just pretty rare from what it seems. I'm like you though.... if I saw the actual leaves / tree branches, I would fill up a few cup. They really should allow you to put some minifig accessories in the PAB cups... Especially since most of the good accessories are NEVER in the Build a Minifig section. The only problem I guess is you have army builders who would load up on swords, guns, etc. Which is not too big of a problem... you would think the cost of making some of the accessories are about the same as making some of the other complicated pieces on their walls.

Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
I went to two nearby Targets and both had the Rise of the Sphinx in clearance sections, but the price scans at full price ($49.99). They're pulling a Walmart move there.
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
I picked up ramses pyramid today! they had 6 left not marked of course but i was just about to go buy a baseplate for 9.99 so why not get some pieces too! and since i work there i get an additional 10% plus the 5% for the red card so i got it for 8.50! they had a bunch of banana games i'm debating getting them. I also noticed alot of the target practice sets, but i'm thinking that will get expensive fast.

Seriously! What's up with that?adol7 wrote:I went to two nearby Targets and both had the Rise of the Sphinx in clearance sections, but the price scans at full price ($49.99). They're pulling a Walmart move there.
I was at Walmart a week ago with my 6yo, and showed him how the "clearance" Heroica sets were the same price as the regular ones JUST ACROSS THE AISLE. I proceeded to tell him how crooked that was, and that the store was being dishonest, and that's why we shouldn't buy from them anymore, and how can they sleep at night... all the while, the toy dept manager was 10 feet away marking product!
Re: [USA][Target] Clearance
Agreed! They are a joke. With that being said.... check between Christmas and New Years... that's when you can get the deals at Wally World.
