Also got my shipping notice for the Podracers about an hour ago after previously being delayed.

Anyone find it ironic how its approximately the same time coupon exclusions came in and the time when orders were shipped?

Not me. The cost of 30% off plus them paying shipping (probably an addition $10-15 or more for MF or Podracers because of the size of the box), plus the sheer number of them being purchased has got to be putting a dent in their profits for sure.

Notice they haven't put out firm orders to stop coupon being used IN STORE. And thats allowing you to even get an additional 10% off on top. They don't carry many of the high-priced sets in store (I'm talking $100+), so your not getting killed on the big profit sets, and still making some on the lower to mid priced sets. That shows you it's more about the sheer volume and the cost of the shipping that's driving the changes.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

The good news is I got an email an hour ago saying that my Millennium Falcon has been shipped. I was getting a bit worry cause I received an email earlier that it would be delayed. But its all good now!

I got the following note from them in regards to my MF order...

Unfortunately, the merchandise listed below has been further delayed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to fulfill your order soon. To keep your order open, we must have your approval for a 30-Day Order Extension. Unfortunately, if we don't get approval from you for the extension within the next 24 hours, we'll have to cancel this part of your order.

To approve a 30-Day Order Extension, follow these easy steps:
1. Go to http://www.barnesandnoble.com/orderstatus/ and sign in under View Order History.
2. Click on the order number.
3. Click on the "I Still Want This" link next to each item.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay.

-- Barnes & Noble

I accepted the 30 day extension but should I be concerned that it will be cancelled in the future? Did they do this to anyone here before?

Same on my side, I finally received "on its way" shipping confirmation email for my podracers after getting delay shipping email earlier.

Never on my order. It's not too bad that they did not cancel your order.

Sorry, but I don't think you are getting your falcon.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Agree. I guess the next 30% off for BN online lego order will happen at special event lasting for 1 or 3 days only, which is similar to 15% off from Columbus day weekend.

I had this once before, and I think of the same, that you won't be getting your order.

I waited for 7 weeks or so after receiving this. I reorder after a while and swoosh it came to me... I suppose my previous order went to Bermuda Triangle.

Thanks for the input folks! I got an email this morning that they sent it out - I have no clue why they even asked me to extend my order if they planned on shipping it out the next day. But they probably don't really know what they are doing. Anyways, I am happy that they sent it out. Can't beat that price!

Thanks again for your thoughts!
