@martin1973 - did you order using 30% coupon or not? Or did you order 2 sets in one order? Wonder if BN gives preference to those who order without discount to maximize revenues?martin1973 wrote:A friend of mine in JB also got it shipped. Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
I'm pretty sure it's based on first come first serve. BN seems to oversell their stock and they always seem to cancel the last few orders that come into their system. If you look at the message timing, it appears that people who ordered last had their items cancelled.
The coupon doesn't seem to matter.
And nobody gave me a "thanks/thumbs up" for the original notice... aw! :(

I got both sets with 30% coupon as I have 2 different addresses.
In fact, I ordered quite late within my group of 10 friends. The guys who ordered 30 mins earlier than me got all their orders cancelled. Those who ordered later like me got all their orders fulfilled.
Seems like BN does not have any system in place. It is not 1st order 1st serve.
Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
That's weird. The only time I've ever had an ordered cancelled is when the item went out of stock a few minutes after I successfully completed my order. I assumed it was because they ran out of stock and I was one of the few people to order after the stock ran out.martin1973 wrote:I got both sets with 30% coupon as I have 2 different addresses.

Last time I caught the MF in stock, I put my order in and I watched it for a while to see what would happen. It ran out of stock about an hour later and my order was successfully delivered. My friend ordered this time around and he just got his shipping notice today. He ordered within minutes of my original post. I still think it's based on a first come / first serve basis with some possible human error accounting for the mistakes (BN seems to have quite a bit of human error).
Anyhow, the main point of this is that I don't think using a coupon has anything to do with an item being shipped nor worldwide location. The earlier you order, the better your chances of getting the shipment.

I think ordering MF from BN is like a lottery. Just down to luck whether the order gets fulfilled. This is 3 rd time lucky. Previous attempts were all made 1 full hour before it went out of stock.
Now for the long one month wait for it to be delivered.

Ordered Big Bentley Bust Out with the coupon Thursday night. Now it's delayed "1-5 days." I'm in no rush, just hope it actually ships. $50 is a great price for this set.

Yup. Got mine today, too. Going to order Spy Jet Escape, soon, too. I'm nearly complete with the Cars sets and have yet to pay retail for any of them.kevin7215 wrote:I did the same thing and just got a shipping noticemah4546 wrote:Ordered Big Bentley Bust Out with the coupon Thursday night. If you're looking for minifig clocks, like Ninjago Kai, these are covered in the 30%-off kids club coupon plus there is this '$5 off Your Purchase of $20 or More'. So for a total of $23.54, taxes and shipping to Canada included. A bit warm but if you have some $5 kids rewards (check if it is expiring soon),it would be better.
I have two $5 rewards that will expire on the 9th so I used it to get the Storm trooper clock. I was thinking about this Ninjago Kai and Toy Story Buzz but they're too juvenile

IMHO, the Stormtrooper is the classic design.
