Not much in either KMart here in Roanoke, VA. All of the Prison Tower Rescues at both locations had been clearanced and sold yesterday :( I did, however, manage to score Gateway of the Squid for only $1.99!!! It made a very nice consolation prize.

They had some toy story as well as some hero factory.

It's amazing how each store varies. I went to 2 Kmarts and they had much more disappointing choices than most of you (only 2 sets at one store and 1 at another).

Decided to stop by Kmart on my way to Target during my lunch break to see if Target had anything left maybe at 75%.... normally this particular Kmart NEVER has anything on sale, and not a huge selection either.

Nothing was marked clearance, so I figured this was gonna be a quick in and out and off to Target for the real goods. Grabbed a few sets, and walked over to the scanner.... best decision ever.

I have hit 6 Kmarts in the NW Philly Burbs. Have gotten at least one of all the SW and Toy Story sets. Pickings are slim in some stores and great in others. Many of the stores do not even have clearance signs up. Also, have found some stores do not have clearance prices on some items that others do.

Who doesn't love a good sale on LEGO. I left a bunch of the 8076 deep sea striker. all of the Kingdoms stuff was cleared out. also nothing was marked, good thing the price checker was in the next aisle over.

All I found at the Hayward, CA K-Mart was

1 8085 Freeco Speeder for 9.50
and I believe the Toy Story 3 trash compactor for 9.50.

Not impressed, maybe someone wiped them out already. They had a nice stock of the new LEGO items though..

I hit a different Kmart today (Acton, MA) and I got a few things:

3 x 8194 Chopper Jump for $2 each (none left)
3 x 7593 Buzz's Star Command $11 each (many left, but in a random aisle, not in the Lego area)
1 x 8076 deep sea striker for $7.50 (one left)
1 x 8084 Snow Trooper BP for $4.50

Only the first two were marked with yellow stickers.

NO HP sets at all on the shelf or there were only 1-2 SW sets that were full price besides the lone battlepack.
NO sale Kingdoms

Some of the items mentioned here were regular price.

I'd love to find the Seaplane or Angler Attack at these prices!

It's hard to turn down minifigs for $1 each though :) Might have to go back and snag them... they also had 6 Passenger Planes for $15... just didn't wanna drop another $100 but it might be worth it... not sure.

I just am not sure how re-sellable/tradeable the Minifig Police Collection will be... what do you guys think?

I'm so tempted to check the Kmart here but it's kinda far and every time I go there I stand in the LEGO aisle and laugh. It's pretty sad. I should take a pic sometime :)

I am being a little hard on them - I did see a bunch of sets on clearance there once about a month ago, I must have beat the hoarders, but the selection is very minimal. Always feel like I'm stepping into 1986 when I go to the Kmart here :)

AND I just saw a commercial that they still have Layaway, pay for your Lego purchases over 8 weeks! I didn't think store "layaway" still existed.

I feel the same way as you Peanut... I cringe having to walk into a Kmart because of how bad they are....

When you walk away saving more than you actually paid... it makes it not so bad :)

My guess is not very. Who needs more Police in their LEGO City? The police already seem to outnumber the rest of the population. Even the robbers are plentiful lately with almost all of the police sets coming with some. Granted, it does come with the crow bar and the new dog, but those are the only exciting thing about the set.

Man I scanned all of their LEGO when I was there and the only thing that was on clearance was what was marked on clearance! You're so lucky!

I was lucky enough to get 1 Prison Tower Rescue on Monday, but I should've gotten more. I went back on Thursday and the other 3 were gone, along with a lot of other Legos. I did manage to get a Cursed Cobra Statue for a nice $11, though.

Decided to go a little bit out of the way to check the Salem KMart today and all they had left was a lone Prison Tower Rescue for $18.50. Luckily that's exactly what I've been hunting for! :D
