[USA] Target half lego inventory on clearance 15% - 50%

Does Target still take their in store clearance down to 70% off or does it stop at 50%? My local target has about 12 Ostrich Race sets that have been at 50% the last 2-3 weeks. :)

depends. the discounts are standardized to 30%, 50%, 75% and for seasonal items 90%.

normal clearance only reach 75%, and after which will be sold to goodwill or donated to non-profits. i would buy them at 75% unless you are competing with a fellow afol reseller.

Thank you! I'll hold out till they hit 75% (that would be $5 per set). I don't think I'm competing with a afol reseller, although there are a few in the area. Do you know how long it usually takes for them to hit the 75% discount?

it sells out pretty quickly at 75%, almost on the day itself after the markdown. toys are marked down on wednesday, ie tomorrow.

My store marks down toys on Thursdays so YMMV. I also was hoping to find the Ostrich Race at 75% off to get one as a gift. There were loads there at 50% off but I find when it hits 75% they are snapped up.

I did get Monsters 4 and Magikus at 50% off @ the brick & mortar Target at 50% off, I never saw Race 3000 discounted.

racer 3000 is still being sold in target stores for full msrp. i suggest you go check out target on wednesday morning. use the price checker, don't rely on stickers since those take time to update. that may be why they are gone by thursday.

I'm 100% sure my store marks down on Thursday, I've been Thurs AM and scanned stuff and it has not been reduced yet. The associates have to scan the item before it marks down further, it is not automatic. If I'm there early on Thurs, I ask an associate to scan it for me to see if it will be futher reduced that day.

I agree the stickers are not accurate, but it really is YMMV on WHEN the markdown happens, it is not company/state-wide for some reason it has to be manually done. That is why you see people saying it is 50% off and others are still at 30%.

I bought the Racer 3000 game at B&N using either a 30% Kids Club Membership + 10% off B&N Membership Card, or with the "Roulette discount" so 50% off + the 10% B&N Membership card....

I find that with Lego Games, the best discount you're gonna get is roughly 50%, and even with 25% off I'm pretty happy as you will really only be able to snag better prices at Walmart or Target when they hit clearance... and you have to hope they still have some in stock at that point.... TRU only games you might as well snag during a BOGO sale cuz that's the best discount you're gonna get off the TRU exclusive games.

Boscov had a 50% off sale on Lego games last fall. It's not that popular.

Target store is clearing out half of their lego inventory. Most of the items were 30% off, but there were some marked down directly to 50% off too!!! Went to 3 stores...only 1 of them had them on clearance...I think that most stores put them on clearance on Thursday...so I will check the other stores tomorrow.

Sick. I went to three today, and like you, one had the 30% off prices. The selection was much more limited but mirror what you found. Gonna go back to the others tomorrow because they have a better stick. Would love to get a T-6 at 50 off

Edit: one addition - they had a ton of CMF4 for 1.48 too

Never heard of Boscov. Only places here in Florida that sell the Lego Games are B&N, TRU, Walmart, and Target. K-mart might, but I dare not set foot into that den of evil.

I was by Target today returning an item. Saw a few PoP Desert Attack sets at 50% off... I had to snag 2 of them... that many minifigs plus a horse for $5... sold.

Lucky you -- that's a great deal! I'm trying to find Desert Attack at a Target near me. Unfortunately I can't find it on target.com, so I can't check online inventory, like I can for Ostrich Race and Alamut. Anyone know Target's 'ASIN' for Desert Attack? That appears to be their SKU #; once you know that you can modify the URL to check inventory for any item.
