Target - 5974 Galactic Enforcer (SP3) 50% off

I know this has been reported in several different regions, but just found 6 of them for $50 in St. Louis at the south county Target off of interstate 55. They had 6, now they only have 3. If your in the area, have at it :).

Well; it is a pretty ugly ship. I scanned one yesterday and saw the new price, but still ended up putting it back on the shelf. I'd probably buy it at 70%.

I kinda like the look of the set. Reminds me of my childhood holy grail, the Galaxy Commander! At anyrate, out of 9 Targets in the St. Louis area, only 3 total copies are left. They won't make it to 70% around here.

I found one of these today at Target in Somerville, MA for 75% off. The box was in really bad shape. I cracked it open before I left the store, just to confirm the minifigs were there (they were).

Allow me to share a hint on how I knew to check this particular store. Even though the target web site lists this as 'only on-line, not in stores', one can still check store inventory if you know the ASIN number. which is currently showing 'limited availability' in Framingham. (Somerville showed the same this morning, and is now out-of-stock. I think 'limited' means 3 or less).

This method isn't 100% accurate, as I've seen some stores (Revere) list items as 'in stock' even if they aren't. But, it might save you some drive time by avoiding stores that you know are out-of-stock.

Stopped by Target and after looking at the end caps where they usually keep the clearance merchandise I was disappointed when I found they were gone. Checked the Lego aisle and was looking at the new sets when I saw some boxes deep behind on the bottom shelf that were bigger than the others. Pulled them out and there were 2 Galatic Enforcer sets along with an AT ST poly bag. Jackpot. Prices on the box had them at $50, the clearance was marked at 50% off reg price. They rang up at $25.24. The poly bag didnt come up in the system so I told them it was part of the easter clearance and he gave it to me for .75 cents.
