I just ordered two Fire Brigades with the buy one get one half off from tru.com. Grand Emporium was not in stock however some of the new city, alien conquest, and kingdoms sets are in stock online (no marina though). The cargo train was also restocked so keep an eye on tru.com if you are looking for something not available.

You aren't the only one. I have to fight every time for the discount on even advertised sales. I can't remember a single time where they just scanned the items I had and the discount took effect automatically; I always have to stop them and make them aware of the sale. It sucks that I have to police their discounts at the register and struggle over it.

I had the same fight when series 4 was starting to show up at TRU. "10% off all construction sets." Series 3 was ringing up with the discount, but not series 4. They started the argument that the minifigures weren't construction sets.

It took some time to prove my case and I ended up leaving with the full box at 10% off, but was extremely frustrated by the hassle.

I missed Fire Brigades but I just ordered 2 Grand Emporium minutes ago. 9PM EDT.

Thanks for the heads up about the Grand Emporium. I just ordered two of those to go with my fire brigades. I just hope the wife doesn't kill me before I get to assemble them.

Apparently the Grand Emporium was available around 9:00pm-10:00pm Eastern time as I bought 2. Someomone said the Fire Brigade was avaible earlier in the day and sold out. As of around Midnight there are Fire Brigades back in stock. Bet they won't last another 30 min from this time of posting.

I got the fire brigade lastnight and it looks like it's out of stock as of 11am today. GE is back instock. Is TRU messing with us? I'm hoping to score the creator shuttle and emerald night as a set.

Yes, Grand Emporium is now in stock - I picked up two. Not sure how I will explain that package to my wife! Emerald Night says it's in stock, but when you add it to your cart, it says it isn't. I called TRU and they said it was indeed out of stock. She said the website only updates once every 12 hours, which is hard to believe.

I was on vaca in las Vegas and of course had to check out their local tru stores. Was able to nab most of the potc sets including queen Anne or whatever the big ship is. Also had a passenger train and two cargo trains so scooped them. Had to ship them home as there was definitely not enough bag room lol.

If anyone wants the cargo train set for the price I paid or trade let me know

Cruised through today, The box of CMF4 that was stocked the day before the current BOGO was missing. Only two sets from POTC were posted and over MSRP. Other newer release sets were not even posted yet. However the BOGO on videogames and gear was in effect so I went over to that aisle instead.

I got 4 POTC sets during the BOGO yesterday:
Whitecap Bay
London Escape
The Mill
Cannibal Escape

I called two TRUs to see if the POTC sets were in. One did not have them but the second one did. I guess some TRUs didn't get any yet.

Oh and they were all over MSRP. 2 to 10 dollars more depending on price.

TRU by me didn't get it's POTC sets in yet. I did find one in Queens and this was the price.

Wow, $152.99?!? That is crazy. I was upset when TRU raised it from $119.99 to $131.99. I just bought it at BN.com for $100.05!

My brother in law found some QARs for $131.99 at a secondary TRU location, then brought the receipt to his local store, where the shelf price was still $119.99 and got the price reduced. He bought two (one for me) at the B1G150% sale, so I paid $96.40 with tax. Nice deal.

Excellent price. I was going to buy 2 but that additional price increase made me not do it. So I went with the BN price. Yes, I'll have to wait till may 1st for shipment but it really is for my sons bday coming up in a couple weeks. I've been using my son as an excuse alot lately, lol.

LOL turtle that is awesome =) I also ran into the same predicament, but I think I ended up bundling the QAR with the Passenger Train set and just ate the small difference...

TRU was REALLY quick to drop the TRU Profit margin on their prices... crazy.. normally they wait at least a month.
