Target sale- galactic enforcer

Hi all,

Just left target and they had 25 Galatic Enforcer space police sets marked 50% off at $50.49. I would have picked up a few but I already bought 9 of these at goodwill for $25 a few weeks back. I'm sure these are leftover from the failed 30% off black Friday sale.

For the record, I saw a few Galactic Enforcers at one of two Walmarts in my area for 60% off. They were in a clearance area separate from the Lego aisles with a bunch of other random toys. Your milage will definitely vary on this. And this was about 2-3 weeks ago now.

My Target also had a few Galactic Enforcers for the same price. Guess they are tired of having this huge set around.

My Target has over 10 of these on the shelf at 50% off. Does Target actually clearance LEGOs down to 75% off? Back in January for the toy clearance nothing went past 50% (maybe thats just because it all got bought at that price though). I am really hoping to snag a couple for $25!

Lol, I saw a few (5) at my Target too... $50.54

I saw them take forever to get to 50% in 1 of the 10 Targets in my area, so I'm kind of holding my breath thinking they will make it to 75% off. Don't think they will make it, but one can dream.

Thats the thing, they usually sell out at 50% but I have seen some sets get down to 75%. I found a Monster 4 for $3.75 a couple weeks ago, it must have been a return because this store had sold out at 50% pretty quickly. But it does happen.

In case it is helpful for anyone, the Target in Greenbelt, MD has at least 3 or 4 Galactic Enforcer sets, but they currently scan at just 30% off.

I agree with you Cowbug... I snagged those games at 50% off with hopes and dreams of buying a few more if they went 75% off for their pieces. No such luck.

However, I think since the Galactic is such a Monster set, even at a $50 price point, most adults who buy Lego for their kids (who don't know anything about Lego), just see the $50 and are apt to say no even though it is a big set. Those of us who do already have our mouth's watering at $50 with inappropriate fantasies about it going to $25. That being said, I think we MIGHT see one or two sneak down to that level... unless they decide to crate them up and ship them to Goodwill.
