There's nothing on sale at my local Walmart, most definitely NOT Magma Monster, because I checked for another one.

Also would be a good time to remind everyone that there is a review of Magma Monster in the review forum :D

Cheers.

I also did not find any of the sets mentioned here on clearance. I did however see the Lego rep there working on the shelves. I asked about CMF S4 and she confirmed that Walmart should be getting them in April.

All was not lost though, I found these http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-18p ... a/15136543" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; bins and the 3 pack was selling for $2.50 vs regular price of $5. I like them for storing bricks by shape since the are fairly shallow. I stocked up on these. They weren't marked. On-line is showing 18 of them for $30.

I also found these and other sizes on clearance for $2.50. These are great! Filled a buggy with these!

Thanks for the info, I picked up Magma Monster for $7.97 today...lots of them left. Walpole, MA Walmart (in the back w/ the games, not on the end-cap w/ some of the Lego games).

The microfigures intrigue me :)

At the Walmart in San Jose (Monterey near 85/101) they had a toy clearance aisle near the garden and dog food area. I found space Galactic Enforcers for $40 (almost got one but money is tight) had about 7 of them. Also a rock raiders set for $20, some vehicle with buzz saws on it. Also one big bionicle box but didn't see the price. Oh and some build a zergs and some duplo sets. Also didn't catch prices on those.

But those galactic Enforcers were enticing. 40 for what was originally 100 I think.

The other Walmart in San Jose (Story Rd) had plenty of build a Zergs but for two bucks more than the other walmart. Also had one duplo set on clearance. Regular Lego aisle was pathetic; only note were some world racers on the shelf still. Didn't have a markdown indicator and didn't think to scan check it.

I'm betting walmarts across the country have those build a Zerg sets on clearance...

I can confirm this. I found 3847 Magma Monster for $7.97 and 3837 Monster 4 for $7.00 in the regular clearance section at the Framingham Wal-Mart.

The Walmart in Germantown MD has discounted prices on some but not all Lego games. I picked up Magikus for $5. I believe Magma Monster and Lava Dragon may have been $7.

Also, I haven't seen this noted anywhere else, but this Walmart also had the large minifig parts sorter on sale (or clearance) for $20. That is the lowest price I've seen. I was tempted to get one just because they look so cool but the truth is I can't justify it right now.

Magikus was labeled $5 on the shelf but scanned $2 a my local Wal-Mart. Doesn't look that special but for $2 I grabbed one, there were a few left.

Here in Lynchburg, VA, Wal*Mart is marking down a few more sets.
TOY STORY: Buzz's Spaceship and Lotso's Dump Truck both half off, and Construct-a-Zurg was $10.
WORLD RACERS: Snake Canyon was $5 and Wreckage Road $20.
ATLANTIS: Atlantis Exploration HQ was $25.

When I was in the Framingham, MA Walmart last week, they had shelf tags marking down Snake Canyon to $7 and Wreckage Road to $21. I only saw one box of the Snake Canyon set and none of Wreckage Road.

Snake Canyon is a great set for the motorcycles. If I see this marked down I'll definitely be picking up another set or two. Motorcycle bodies in various colors can go for quite a bit on Bricklink.

That was only reason I bought that set.
Really like the dirt-bike style.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Saw Slave I on clearance for $59 and Clone Turbo Tank for $99. Both were in the regular Lego toy aisle. This was in Upstate NY near Syracuse.

As always, this is YMMV, but one of the two Wal Marts near me had a few LEGO games on clearance at 50% off:

Ramses Pyramid $15
Magikus $5
Race 3000 $10
Robo Champ $5

I haven't played Ramses Pyramid yet, and the others aren't among my favorite LEGO games, but for half off they're worth picking up for the parts alone.

Ramses Pyramid is great for tan bricks and the tan baseplate! That tan baseplate is worth $9-10 alone on BrickLink.
