Hang in there I got CS Sibin to sort it out was able to get the Star Wars Tantive IV and Atlantis Neptune Carrier for $151 with taxes no shipping after about 10min not to painful had to place the order first and she applied the discount after.... good luck, and typing with links is probably easier than the trying to use the phone.

My Amazon story...

I spent 25 minutes chatting with Sudhir and finally gave up. It was a fiasco -- he wouldn't accept that they had a system error.

A few minutes later I tried again, and I spoke with Mahender. He was at least polite, but I kindly said goodbye after we went in circles for 10 minutes.

I tried again and talked to "Taryn" who was much more professional. She acknowledged that they had a system error and that the marketing department was "working on it" and to try back in 24 hours. She wouldn't accept an order, but insisted instead that I try tomorrow.

Not having experienced enough pain (and fearing that by tomorrow the sets would be sold out), I tried one last time. I got Gaurav. He said that very many people were contacting them regarding this broken promotion (or perhaps a few people, many times each? ). In any case, he suggested that I place my order and that they would refund 25% after the order shipped. So, I placed an order for $2,708.89 (5 x Fire Brigade, 5 x Tantive and a few others), and was told to expect a refund of $677.22.

I got Erin when I called. She was aware of the problem with the Lego discount. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then told me she would make sure I got the discount applied when I was charged for the items. I placed the order - a few Fire Brigades and Tantive IVs - and gave her the order number. She then Emailed me less than a minute later :)

Nice also that there wasn't much of a wait when I called Amazon. Overall, it went pretty well. As long as I get the 25% discount, I'm very happy!

Score!! It looks like Amazon fixed it, the deal now works WITHOUT having to call CS. Just add any two (or more) from the list (could even be two of the same item). I think the best two are the Fire Brigade (http://goo.gl/lb3RU)and the SW Tantive IV (http://goo.gl/dGIfJ).

Probably the best deal this holiday..wohoo...all these deals are making everyone poor...

Just tried it and yes, a discount was showing up on the checkout area, but for $4.50? Did other combos and it was the same - $4.50

The deal is sort of working. You only want to order two items at a time because it's only giving you 25% off the two least expensive sets in your cart. Be careful.

5x fb + 5x tant iv = $1049. might want a second look in that order since with the refund, it's still $2.1k.

I am kind of glad they pulled the deal. Just knowing it was still out there made me find weird ways to rationalize buying even MORE LEGO. You know, thinking of MOC's where I need a lot of ostriches from the PoP sets. :)

Working again, but as a buy one get one 50% off on those selected sets. Plus most of the prices have been raised somewhat (Fire Brigade now $150 instead of $140 last night).
