I think the price per piece ratio on this set already put it on par with the price per piece ratio. I like the minifigures and I think the sheer quantity of parts makes this set a steal at this price considering it's a Star Wars line. I can't imagine it getting any cheaper. I plan on getting two so that I have one for display and one hopefully to start some MOC based on the old PC X-Wing games. Thanks for the heads up!

Savings are not as good as the shuttle, but hyena droid bomber is also up at amazon for $16.54 and clone turbo tank for $99.99.

If you ask me, the droid bomber is a good deal considering other similar size sets cost $25 retail nowadays. I think it was the last star wars set to go for $20 before a raise.
