Our local Walmart (Hamilton, ON) has set 8099 on for $20, much more reasonable than the original $50. Supplies are low!

Toys N Bricks has verified the info and we can conclude that the site is rather up to date with the prices. For those in British Columbia, we’ve checked all 6 stores in the Lower Mainland and none of them have the LEGO clearances listed above.

Most stores do not have this set on clearance. However, we predict LEGO 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer will eventually be on clearance more widely in Canada since this is a similar case with last year’s clearance on LEGO 7751 Ahoska’s Starfighter & Droids.

the website said newmarket ON had them for $20 but when I went today, nothing! Most walmarts in the Greater Toronto Area don't have it yet on clearance.

Yes the site tells you the price but not the stock. My guess would be that somebody already brought them all.

You might check the Lunar Limos (set 5984) while you're there, if they interest you - they were on clearance a couple of weeks ago for $40 but I found one at the back of the shelf and it was down to $20 too...

That may be the case, but there was not even a tag or spot for it on the shelves in clearance or in the lego section.

I went in to the Walmart here in Surrey, BC and found 4x 7778 Midi-Scale Millenium Falcon's in the clearance section for $30 (reduced from $40).
