This isn't because of winter clearance. They marked it down to open up shelf space. I doubt this is a wide spread sale. It's probably that one store ordered too many and they're trying to deal with the excess.

All the stores in houston don't even have the submarine priced in their inventory.

The Target in Deerfield Beach FL on Federal Hwy had the Yellow Subs at half price...they probably got 50 or 100 of them in by mistake and were trying to get rid of them....I just called them, they still have a lot left, I guess nobody wants them

Yeah I'd be buying 5-10 of them too. Make great gifts and resell the rest to get your money back. If I lived near the 99 Cent Stores I'd buy 10 of each one they have.

Bricklink sellers have gotten as low as $3 for some packs. Thats about as good as your going to get on the east coast.
