Here is the list from the last week: Some of the percentages are slightly off due to Targets strange prices on some sets.
30% off:
Star Wars Droid Tri-fighter $20.98
Ninjago Electromech $10.48

42?% off:
Star Wars Snowspeeder $17.48 (not sure what the original price was at Target)
Lego Movie Cloud Cukoo Palace $11.88 (same)

All 50% off:
Small Pirate set $9.98
Star Wars AT-AT Microfighter $4.98 - Star Wars Kashyyk Troopers $6.48
Star Wars Utapau Troopers $6.48 - Grievous Wheel Bike $12.48
Chima Croc tribe pack: $5.14 - Chima Tormak's Shadow Blazer $14.98
Mammoth Stronghold $29.98 - King Crominus' Rescue $44.98
Creator Red Go-Kart $5.14 - Creator Tree House $15.28 - Creator Beach Hut $15.44x2
Bionicle Skull Slicer $7.48 - Skull Basher $7.48 - Lewa Jungle Master $7.48
Pohatu Stone Master $7.48 - Tahu Fire Master $9.99
Ninjago Polybag $1.99 - Ninjago Anacondrai Crusher $9.98 - Ninjago DBX $39.99 x2
City Swamp Starter set $4.98 - Swamp Police Helicopter $20.48
City Snowplow $10.18 x2
Technic Hot Rod $19.98
Marvel Ant-Man $9.98
DC Batman vs Man-Bat $9.98 - DC Riddler Race $14.98 - DC Darkseid Invasion $34.98 x2
Minecraft - the Mine $55.98 x2 - I found 2 different stores that had these on clearance and picked up 1 at each. The other stores all had them as a sale price for around $87.

More than 50% off: Marvel Captain America vs Hydra $8.48 - Marvel Hulk Lab Smash $17.48
Ultra Agents Tremor Track $6.98

I also picked up 3 minifigure display cases at 70% off for $7.48 each

Other than Chima and Bionicle it was very hard to find stuff this year. Most of the Star Wars was gone by Christmas before they even started clearance. Not sure if Target is getting less stock or if people are buying with only minimal discounts. Either way I may have to start being satisfied with a 30% discount on some of my most wanted sets.
Also, I will no longer buy any large sets from Target if they have those stupid circular inventory control stickers on them unless they are at least 50% off. There is no way to get them off without tearing a big spot on the box and they almost always stick them right on the front. I don't sell any of my Legos but I do save the boxes and it just bugs me to have a big tear in the box if I don't have to. Unless they are greatly discounted, I would rather buy them at Walmart or the Lego store to avoid the stickers, even if they cost a little more. Rant concluded.

It's a mix. Lego has been growing in popularity, especially after the Lego Movie and the new factories they are building aren't done yet so there's a slight shortage.

All the areas around me a wiped out except for the Crominus Rescue and Mammoth Stronghold.

I found six of the LEGO Creator Pet Shop 10218 for $74.99 (regularly $149.99) on 01-13-2016 at some Target around Chicago (I stopped randomly on the way home from work downtown). I was quite happy.

A friend who builds the buildings did not believe that I had that set x6 from Target (he said only the LEGO store had them), I had to insist.

Nice find. This was an online order & return. Target will instantly markdown online returns for items that are not carried in store 30%-50% off.

My local store in Phoenix had the same a week ago. 4 of them at the same price you found, along with 3 of the EV3's about about $100 off the normal $349 price.

I need to check more often. I suspect that people order things, and return them so they can re-buy them for 50% off.

There's no way to check for those random returns.

I Target near a friend's house had the Simpsons Mart a couple of weeks ago but it wasn't marked down at all so I left it.

I find these type or orders on a rare occasion in Austin at Targets. When Target takes them back, at most, they discount 15%, but won't discount further.

I have found alot of these types of items at one particular Walmart in Austin. They however, loose the boxes in the back for about a year, they get beat to hell, probably scratching up all of the parts in the process, and will only discount 25%, if at all.

I thought target will ship them back to warehouse.

Nothing is ever sent back to a warehouse, just sits around for awhile and might be donated to Goodwill at some point.

Price matched 50 TIE advanced polybags to Walmart at Target for $2.00 each.

Also saw 2 X-men sentinel sets and a TMNT sky rocket in a returns bin that wouldn't scan, took them to customer service and the manager scanned them.

X-men scanned for $24.98 (50% off)

TMNT skyrocket scanned for $34.99 (MRSP)

I knew at that point I was getting the X-men at that price, but I decided to ask him when further markdowns would happen. He scanned them and said they would get marked down on Sunday, but he said since I was so polite he would override that and mark them down now. He scanned them on his phone and took them over to the price sticker printer, and out comes three 'AS IS' stickers.

X-men gets stickers for $17.46 (30% off of $24.98)

TMNT gets one for $24.46 (30% off of $34.99)

I say I will take the X-men but not the TMNT, he says wait a second and starts tapping furiously at his little tablet. He says he can do the TMNT for $17.16, I say deal.

Out comes another AS IS sticker and I check out happily.

Today I grabbed 76023 The Tumbler for $42.96.
Damaged box but everything is inside in the sealed polybags.
I think this is an online order & return one.

Thanks Target.

No kidding...I paid retail for the one I ordered by calling LEGO the Friday before last...it arrived with a hole in the package the unfortunately carried over into the actual box, too. Bought it to keep it, though, so no big. I'd take another 2 or 3 for parts alone at $43 though...

Lego DC Super Heros Darkseid Invasion $34.98 x2

They were still sitting with the full price stuff with no clearance stickers. Scanned and it wasn't in the system like it had been salvaged. Took to customer service and they pulled up the price of 34.98 from their system.

It looks like the target stuff is out of the system, grabbed a few item not found sets and took them to CS or the closest employee and they all came up with 50% prices so my days of seeing 70% on the regular sets seems be long gone. The one set I ended up getting with was an untagged Friends Jungle Bridge the only problem is that I love the Friends camp sets that seem to be replacing the jungle sets...lego is so addicting.

May I ask which polybags were the Valentines' day "sets"? I kind of lost track. Thanks!
