One of my contacts saw one at Walmart once, it wasn't marked down at all though. Sometimes they get exclusives as online returns, but its up to the manager if they want to mark it down

I saw a modular building, Partisan Restaurant, at a Walmart just last week. It was an online returned, but some scumbag had filled it up with spare pieces. I picked it up and instantly knew it was too light, so I handed it over to a customer service representative and they opened it up.

I think it's an online return or someone didn't pick it up. I found the modular pet shop for a steal earlier this year as well.

I've seen a handful of online big exclusive set marked down mainly at target, haven't ever seen any at Walmart but it make sense.

Ok back on topic saw the wookie gunship for $45 but it's still not low enough to make me bite. Also polys are $3 at all the desert walmarts and there are very few left.

Did find a hulk and electro poly at the TRU next door so it wasn't a wasted trip.

Went to four walmarts today. Only one had polys (and for $3.00, I bought em anyway) and the race car sets for $5

guppy, I don't think they're allowed to sell UCS sets for that low of a price. And they also never sell those in store.

Walmart has been known to sometimes markdown UCS or exclusives, just last week BOTD found two partisan restaurants (or pet shop, idk, not good with those sets) for $99.00 on clearance.


On another note my final polybag tallies for yesterdays hunt was:

x2 Joker bumper car
x1 Friends juce cart ($3.94, not on clearance)
x1 Battle mech ($3.94, not on clearance)

Giving me a total of 20 polys for an average of $2.38 each. Now to see if the target polybags went to 70% off.

The only thing that I found worthy of attention in Richmond KY was the Quinjet for the same price that you mentioned. The shelves were very empty so I could have missed some good deals.. or they're just empty from Christmas and waiting for reset and new items. For those lurking in the KY area I checked Kroger as well but found nothing other than a few $2 off $10 item type deals. Nothing exciting.

Regular priced set with a box that is completely mangled and smashed. (almost looks like a forklift poked a hole in the box, as all the same sets have similar smashed etc and holes...) Is it worth asking for a discount on the set? Does that usually fly? If yes, what % is typically discounted?

Almost always they will do 10% off, if its REALLY bad take it to manager and they probably will do more for it, might put one of those specific % off stickers that we sometimes see on damaged merchandise.

I have seen sets missing major parts (Like a dinosaur) and all Walmart did was tape the hell out of a PLASTIC BAG that they stick it in and give it 10% off, which is a joke. But that varies by store.
