Target Valentine's clearance = $1 polybags!
I just picked up Lego 30302 (Friends Smoothie Stand) and Lego 30311 (Police Swamp Helicopter) for $1.04 and $1.11 a piece! I don't recall which price goes with which set, but I think the Police one was $1.04. I found these in the Valentine's clearance section at my local Target in Massachusetts. If an admin wants to post this to the main page of TnB, I'd be delighted to know that my report made the "hot news"!

Which store?
Re: Target Valentine's clearance = $1 polybags!
This was in Dartmouth. Haven't checked out any other Targets yet, but I'm not sure I plan to until the next holiday comes around...which I believe is Easter...

Mantisking, my sources say there are some $1 helicopters in Framingham. good luck finding them.
Re: Target Valentine's clearance = $1 polybags!
This is a national clearance, look in the target clearance posts, and they will eventually go down to 90% off, (currently 70%) so keep looking, check the checkout isles as well, people often put them there on accident.

Well, maybe it's phantom stock, then, or they are hanging up by the registers. When I ran a DCPI check earlier today, Framingham was one of the stores that popped up as saying it was in stock. Like all clearance, YMMV.Mantisking wrote:Hunh. If the stock for something this small is less than 10 and you can't find them in store, they were stolen, or ripped open, or just got thrown out by mistake. Or that the stock that was there was picked over by now, and the computer hasn't been updated since the night before.

Picked up 16 of the helicopters ($1.04) and 5 of the Smoothie ($1.19) at my local target this morning.
Re: Target Valentine's clearance = $1 polybags!
I have never once had any luck finding these bargain polys, even in Targets I am sure should have them. I just can't figure out where they stash them.

thanks for the heads up! Target clearance polybags have always been good quick flips and a way to build up funds for UCS or big box sets. Especially polybags with a minifigure and vehicle.

YAY I MADE A DIFFERENCE! To quote a certain animated show about families and guys, "you let me by myself!"
Actually, I'm not 100% sure how that applies here, but I am happy to share the news and hope that I've helped others out as I have benefited greatly from this amazing site!!!

Re: Target Valentine's clearance = $1 polybags!
Went to 2 Targets today and got 6 smoothie stands@ .39 cents each and 5 Helicopters @.34 cents each.
Found these hanging near the checkout buiried behind other polybags.

brickmythic, would you mind sharing any of your tips? I have a one year old, and while he's not ready for Lego, I thought I'd grab a few of these after every holiday to build up as party favors for one of his birthdays some year. I've seen lots on ebay (of 5, 8, 10 polybags) for about retail price, but I wasn't sure if those lots ever sold. I was a huge fan of getting the $20 off $100 Kidstuff coupons on ebay, but those days are long gone. If you'd be willing to send any tips my way, I'd appreciate it!Brickmythic wrote:thanks for the heads up!
