TRU lowers some clearance prices

I went to see if I could find a remaining Colby City Showdown at a store that had a bunch left, but someone cleaned them out. Luckily there was one Ninjago Mechdragon sitting on the shelf for $19.99 where there had been none a few days earlier. I looked for any other drops, but it was just the ones listed in the previous posts, everything else was still the same price.

TRU is following in Walmart's footsteps. Their clearance items $20 Mechdragon went back up to $40 and the $10 Eagle's Castle went back up to $25.

FYI if you apply the $5 coupon it does lower total for free shipping so make sure you have over $54 in cart to still qualify, typical TRU.

Just grabbed some sets off TRU.com, the new bulldozer set ($26.99) and the airport fire truck ($22.99) which I've been eyeing on for quite some time.

TRU is real sneaky. The minecraft sets are retail online but marked up in-store and they won't allow in-store pickup for those items.

Current in-store 20% sales are City, Minecraft and Princess. Current onine 20% sales are City, Minecraft and Star Wars.

Assuming you can find an item at MSRP in store for $31.25 then the 20% savings and $5 off coupon nets 36% savings. Ordering online and getting the free shipping requires $68.75 which with the 20% savings and $5 off coupon nets 27%.

Right now minecraft is marked up in-stores but MSRP online. I believe City is MSRP both in-store and online.

Today I found just one last Ulta Sonic Raider for $24.98! Not only that, but my TRU had put out about 20 Rocket Raccoon polybags for $3.98, marked clearance. The only other price difference I saw was $3.98 for the Dareth vs. Nindroid polybag. Good luck!

Incredible find!!! My store had loads of those polys the last time I was there, also, the eagle castle was marked back up to 24.98 as a clearance price and scaned as such, is TRU going walmart?

after reading this thread, went to my local TRU and checked out their section.
Hidden among the other sets was a LEGO Ninjago 70725 Nindroid Mech Dragon.
I scanned it and it can up as 19.98...the Cashier was shocked when in was checking out

No, these are older sets from previous clearance, just finding them mixed in with current sets.
Have not found any new clearance sets beyond those already mentioned on this thread.
I went to see if they had brought out the new sets and also looked through the Chima section for older titles.
