Wish I'd found this earlier, I've been wanting to find a cheap Battle of Alamut - also missed out on Fight for the Dagger, was in stock when I checked, but when I tried to order it was sold out. Was able to get Ostrich Race and a second Desert Attack though. Hopefully some other places will follow suit and clearance their PoP sets soon.

I'm glad I got 'Fight for the Dagger' via B&N 40% off sale. I'm hoping to see some of the larger PoP sets at clearance in person, too, although they seem to be getting more rare around my area.

I talked to disneystore.com today. Fortunately, they were happy to offer me the price difference from what I had paid for the deal of 35% off. However, I could only get in-store credit.

For anyone who shop from disneystore.com during 35% off period, you may contact them asap. They honor price adjustment within 7 days of purchase day.

I just checked with their website, even "The Ostrich Race Lego Play Set" has been sold out. Too bad that I am late for it. It seems all PoP have been sold out.

I was happy even though I mis-timed it. I placed a large order on Wednesday, one day before the 50% off day. But like the previous post mentioned, I called and am getting some online store gift cards/credit. Can't argue with that, and they don't expire. So if I would have waited until today, most would have been sold out.

Hopefully they'll do the same discount for Toy Story 3 sometime and my gift cards can be spent there.

Their system is obviously incapable of letting you know when an item in your cart has been sold out while you're busy filing out their stupid forms. That's pretty ridiculous. I emailed them to see if I could get at least one, as I had ordered multiples.

EDIT: Their response was basically a brush-off:

Yeah, if you ordered yesterday morning and haven't received any cancellation message, you're probably good to go. I ordered late in the day.
