Target sale

Post by slacker » Mon Aug 23, 2010 7:03 pm

I went to target today and they had rebel trooper pack 8083 and snowtrooper 8084 for $7.99. Sale is good thru 9/25. Must be ready to get rid of these. They said $4 off. I checked lego and the new msrp is $11.99.

Can you believe that? I thought that target was starting to markup prices like TRU.

there are other sets for sale. One of the tag for space police was moved to the left. it's the set on the right that's on sale. These were spotted in NY spring valley.

Ya and I thought $10.99 would stay for at least a year, but not anymore i guess.

Sale was not on at the Target @ Tanforan in San Francisco

Sale was on at the Target at Fashion Island 10 minutes south. Also picked up a fire rescue set 7942 (normally $16.39 but lego.com says $9.99) for $7.99

What I saw (and bought at that store) was

1 Space Police
1 Atlantis
1 Rebel Trooper
1 Snow Trooper
2 Fire Rescue sets (131 piece set!)

$7.99 each

Is the sale on Space Police III Raid VPR? If I can find a participating Target, I may partake... I like the pieces and the figures...

This was a nice value for the $15 my wife paid for it when she gifted it to me like 3 months ago. $10 is one of the better $/piece deals of the year IMO.

yes it is, I was to lazy to write all the set numbers. I figured that photos would do. So no one has any love for power miner sets?

Well, the photo was confusing, sas the price tag was under 'Squidman Escape'. I thought it was fishy, seeing as how $7.99 on that set would be a $2 INCREASE, but wanted to make sure ;)

+1 one the fire set. Picked one up in spring valley. West nyack store doesn't have this sale. Maybe the other store started early.

Target in Newburgh didn't have this going on. The only price drop sign I saw there was still the Freeco Speeder.
