I think they went about it all wrong. They should have made a small number of games with good mechanics and kept them on shelves long enough for them to get a good reputation. I think people bought a few, realized they were all essentially the same, and didn't see the need for any more.

I really liked Heroica (once I had added to the rules a lot, that is).

Yeah, that is was the major issue. The games were basic and involved more time putting together than actually playing. Also they should have released the themed based games in the US, like the star wars, lord of the rings, and batman board games. They would have sold tons of them.

Though it is nice to have the games on clearance bc of the parts inside.
