Toys R Us Clearance - Half Off!!!

Wow, I was so lucky today! Wandered into the Lynchburg TRU and found Lego sets on clearance for half off of TRU prices.
2 Jabba's Palaces for $64.98
1 Battle of Hoth for $27.48
1 Lone Ranger Comanche Camp for $10.98
Several Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chases for about $64

They also had some of that master builder stuff, but I wasn't sure if it was half-price.
NOTE: Most of the clearance labels weren't half off, but just a few were, so check 'em all. Happy hunting!

I have not been to TRU in some time and never noticed clearance Lego...are the clearance Lego mixed in with regular priced items or in a different area at your store?

I've never seen anything at 50%, mostly just "clearanced" with a couple dollars off; but what's there is always on a low shelf off by themselves, usually on an unassuming endcap, not mixed in with everything else.

These were items that had been on 'clearance' for a while, but it was only a few bucks off. It looks like they recently cut the price. There weren't many copies left of most sets.
Oh, they were interspersed in the regular Lego aisle. Just look for the red 'clearance' tag and then read the price.

Have not seen Jabba's Palace or Battle of Hoth at my TRU in a long time, but worth a shot for those Lone Ranger sets.

*edit* Lone Ranger Comanche Camp and Train were indeed on sale, for half off "TRU" retail price after I placed them on the scanner. Otherwise, unadvertised, no clearance stickers or anything.

At my local TRU the following were on sale.
TMNT: Baxter Robot Rampage $40
City Space Center : $45
MBA Adventure Designer: $40

Lots of other items have been reported but I have not seen them.

If anyone finds an invention designer and wants to trade let me know. I'm in 21701 and I've heard of them being priced at $45.00

These prices may be standard TRU and not YMMV, I saw the same prices in Staten Island and Union, NJ. No Jabba's Palace, though. Also saw a Battle of Helm's Deep for $75.

This TRU had all 3 of the big Academy sets plus the small ones 20200 and 20202.
the only one left on the shelf was one 20215, the rest were gone.
I can't remember sign/price on 20217 or the small ones, I was kind of frustrated and left quickly.

Since I bought 20214 from this store about 2 months ago with a 20% coupon. Last week I decided to return it ( ) to wait for a better deal. To bad that I did not wait a little longer.
When I read the news yesterday I could not go until today.
I was hoping that the employees miss the memo or have not put up the signs yet.

Level 4 invention designer with steampunk is what I saw for $45. However I didn't scan it to confirm.

Someone did something like that in Lynchburg, VA - All the sets I described that I didn't get were absolutely gone today. I'm sort of bummed I didn't grab a MBA set, but oh well.
